Meet Marcela Dias | Tape Tan Artist | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcela Dias and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marcela, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
From the beginning I wanted to help other women to achieve their goals and dreams. For me, it was a challenge to start a business again and by improving myself I felt the need to help other people achieve the same.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
1- Tell us more about your business. What I love about my business is that it gives me the opportunity to help women increase the self-esteem of the women I serve.
In my aesthetic space or in my courses, my priority is to help them look or feel better with the same.
Whether they come to me for CoolSculpting, facials or to teach them my Brazilian tape tanning technique, I always look for ways to make them look their best and feel their best.
At the end of the day, I am very proud and happy when my clients leave feeling good and more confident in themselves.
2-We would love to know what sets you apart from others, what makes you most proud or excited.
I think my difference is that I put my heart into what I do, for my clients or students they are more than business, they are a kind of daughters, sisters, mothers and friends for me. I see them as part of my family, of my life, in a certain way.
On the other hand, my clients make me feel proud of them because they come to me looking for a solution because they want to look better and that motivates me. It makes me feel that they deserve the best of me for seeking the best of themselves.
3-How did you get to where you are today in terms of business?
With a lot of work and effort. I have worked hard on myself every day to offer the best to my students and clients.
I dedicated time and money in training to be better and better professionally and I continue to do so.
4-Was it easy?
NO, I believe that nothing in life is easy but on the other hand I can say yes, because I did it with love and it was not heavy, rather gratifying.
5- How did you overcome the challenges?
With a lot of mental work, the desire to improve myself and the help of a few close to me.
6-What are the lessons you have learned along the way?
Do not give up, listen to my intuition, ignore negative people or people who were not in a higher business level than me and believe in myself.
7-What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I always think that on the day I leave this world, the people who know me will say: She fought, fought and didn’t stop until she got it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Where I live now is a beautiful tourist city in South Florida that I fell in love with from day one.
For me it is the closest thing to my vision of the Caribbean, which I always had since I was little.
It would be quite easy in this case and I would first take my friend to my favorite spa, for a relaxing massage.
Than some wines to watch the sunset in the sea.
Definitely fish, here is a great fishing spot, do water sports like jet skiing and maybe I would convince to skydive with me. (a smile escapes me). I always wanted to do it but maybe I’m waiting for it to do at a special moment.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, Dante Harper
