Meet Marcela Villalobos and Ana Caicedo Concepto MV | Interior Designers / Partners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcela Villalobos and Ana Caicedo Concepto MV and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marcela Villalobos and Ana Caicedo, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Concepto MV success is built upon two key factors. First, building a strong team. Finding and nurturing talented people who are commited to their work and who share the same passion for Interior Design has been key to our success. Working as a team is at the core of our operations, ensuring that every project benefits from a diverse range of perspectives, skills and expertise. We also recognize the significance of delegation in optimizing our efficiency and productivity. In addition to our collaborative team approach, we believe that focusing on a niche has also been a crucial factor that set us apart from the industry. During the pandemic, we offered for the first time a virtual interior design service that allowed us to target to an audience who didn’t have access to an interior design before and also spend more time doing what we love most: Design. Having our brand DNA clear we focus on this service and strategically defined the process. We transformed more than 300 spaces in the first year and more than 1,000 to the date. Virtual Interior Design contributes to 80% of our total income.

What should our readers know about your business?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Marce is more of an outdoor person while Annie loves the noise of the city and it’s flavors.
Marce will definately recomend going on a boat for a sunset view showing them Miami on a totally different view. Also if into water sports, she would take her snorkeling in peanut island in west palm beach and finally driving up to her favorite florida spring: Kingslanding in Apopka.
Annie will start the day with a brunch, she strongly recommends the acai bowls at Pura vida, or the amazing buffet at Cecconi’s. Window shopping at the design district, walking around the artistic wyndwood walls and spending the day at a Miami Beach hotel pool are some of her favorite plans. To eat she would take her to Osaka, Carbone or the clasicc Capital grill.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Many talented people have conrtibuted to our success one way of another. Vendors support and a amazing netwok of other designers has been key to deliver exceptional results that exceed our client expectations.
We would like to give recognition to Addison House one of our favorite showrooms in Miami. We have a relationship of over 10 years based on collaborative work and trust.
We also want to dedicate this shout out to DecorBookUsa. Maria Cecilia Crevatin invited us to be part of an amazing network of generous designers willing to share their experiences and resources.
