We had the good fortune of connecting with Maria Elena Monroy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maria Elena, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As Digital Marketing and Public Relations Specialists, We noticed the impact that press releases and media tours had on the positioning of a brand on Google and digital. We saw how our clients began to have a constant and consistent appearance on the first page of Google and their brand began to have authority, which is called brand awareness. For this reason, we decided to offer our clients and partners a 360 strategy that includes Integrated Marketing Communications, Public Relations and SEO, which has given us great results.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I like most about being a public relations professional is being in deep contact with my clients. I have the opportunity to help them take off with their brands. Public relations is about being authentic, letting people know who you are and your purpose, and how this can benefit others. This is what I love the most and this is what makes me unique. Getting started in the US has been a challenge because the Hispanic market has grown so fast and our clients need not only answers but also solutions.
The lesson we have learned is that Latino entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs are very passionate and strive to bring the best of their brands to the US market.
We must adapt to the market, regulations, laws and the economic system of this great country so that companies can grow.
We want to be recognized as an agency that becomes one of the team and that we work with honesty and excellence.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show him the time of his life. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary: let’s say it was a week long trip, where you would eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc. In your opinion, what are some of the most fun, interesting and exciting people, places or things to see? outside? South Florida is so beautiful that this is a difficult question to answer, but it would surely take you to Dubois Park in Jupiter, West Palm Beach, and its beautiful oasis of marine life. I would love to give him a tour of Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale and we would go to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in South Florida, with incredible places and exotic restaurants like Bae Korean Grill.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely, I have to mention Hector Castillo. He is my “partner in crime”, my friend, and my partner. As an entrepreneur woman, I really appreciate that he has pushed me out not only with my personal dreams but also with our Digital Agency. He has a deep and vast knowledge of SEO, Youtube, and Google, and this complements my PR efforts to make a brand a success.
His point of view and experience in business is great to approach and bring tailored solutions to our clients.
