Meet Mariana Ianovska | Mia Digital Production

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariana Ianovska and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly? It started with a camera, a curious mind, and a question: “Why do so many great ideas look… boring on video?” I saw incredible entrepreneurs, powerful speakers, and brilliant businesses struggling to visually express their value. So I thought—what if I could help them not just look good, but connect deeply with their audience?
I didn’t just want to shoot videos. I wanted to craft visual experiences that tell a story, spark curiosity, and move people to action. Starting my own business gave me the freedom to blend creativity with strategy, art with marketing—and help others shine in the process.
Plus, let’s be honest—I’ve never been great at staying inside the box. So I built my own.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is more than a video production studio—it’s a visual storytelling partner for brands, speakers, and entrepreneurs who want to show up boldly and authentically. I specialize in turning complex ideas into captivating, scroll-stopping content that speaks to the heart, not just the algorithm.
What sets me apart is the way I work—I don’t just film events or products, I dive into the essence of the message. I help clients find the emotional thread, the story behind the brand, and bring it to life with intention, style, and soul. From strategy to scripting, filming to editing, I’m hands-on with every part of the process.
I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve built something from scratch that helps other people shine. I’ve worked with brilliant minds—founders, tech leaders, wellness entrepreneurs, speakers—helping them craft their legacy in motion. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone’s eyes light up when their message finally clicks in a way they never imagined.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I started with limited resources, no blueprint, and a million “what ifs.” But I showed up—again and again—with passion, curiosity, and a belief that visuals can move people. I overcame challenges by staying flexible, learning quickly, and focusing on relationships. Every obstacle was a lesson in resilience and creativity.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about my story, it’s this: You don’t need a big budget or perfect conditions to start. You just need a clear voice, a sharp eye, and the courage to tell your story your way.
My brand stands for creativity with purpose, visuals with meaning, and storytelling that makes people feel something. That’s the kind of content the world needs more of—and that’s what I wake up every day to create.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to Miami for a week, I’d show them the city through the lens of sunshine, flavor, and creativity. We’d start with Cuban coffee at Versailles, wander through Wynwood’s murals and galleries, then catch golden hour at The Standard. One day we’d snorkel in Key Largo, another we’d bike the Miami Beach boardwalk, dip into the Perez Art Museum, and sneak in rooftop cocktails at Sugar in Brickell. We’d feast on stone crabs at Joe’s, dance at Ball & Chain, relax at Lapis Spa, and paddleboard in Key Biscayne. It’d be a week full of ocean breezes, epic sunsets, soulful food, and memories made in technicolor.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely—because while I may be the face behind the lens, this journey has never been a solo act.
First and foremost, I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to the creative rebels and visionary thinkers who believed in my work before I had a logo, a website, or even a clear plan. They saw potential, trusted me with their stories, and gave me the space to experiment, grow, and evolve.
A big thank-you goes to my community of entrepreneurs, speakers, and makers—those brilliant minds who reminded me that business can be bold, fun, and full of heart. Every collaboration with them was a lesson in courage, clarity, and purpose.
Because at the end of the day, success isn’t just what you build—it’s who you build it with. And I’ve been lucky to have some incredible people along for the ride.
