Meet Mariana Molero: Fitness Coach. CEO Healthy With Flavor, INC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariana Molero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariana, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Consistency, continued education & discipline! Developing a daily habit tracker based on my priorities and following a consistent wake-up routine to run my days in an organized way has been very helpful. Prioritizing additional learning on a daily basis was fundamental to building my career and my business.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a fitness professional with almost 10 years of experience in the field. Since I started fitness in 2010, I have been working hard to live better, healthier, and happier. Since then my aim has expanded to helping others conquer their health and fitness goals as well. I have an extensive fitness background with training in over 92 exercises and nutrition-based fitness programs. Investing several hours (especially nights and weekends) in learning has been one of the most challenging actions I’ve taken in order to build my fitness career. But it was certainly worth it! I teach with passion & love for what I do, and it feels great knowing I’ve helped to change +132,000 lives during my fitness career. I won’t stop till I am a world-renowned trainer!
Also, coming from Venezuela I’ve experienced life as an immigrant, having to start all over has helped me to become an inspiration to my kids, my extended family, and my community. Every single day I am a mom, a wife, a business-owner, and a social activist. I do my best to be a role model that inspires others, especially my kids, by showing them through my actions that it is possible to overcome obstacles and to achieve whatever you want to pursue in life.
Moving to Miami has also been pretty demanding in terms of my appearance: I do fitness to LIVE and FEEL better!
Florida is an ideal retirement city so I LOVE working with Seniors and other people that are focused on their health. This pushed me to develop extensive expertise for training the older population, people with specific injuries, as well as people pre & post pregnancy. I ran my business mostly marketing to these types of amazing people.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Key Biscayne, Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale! Key Biscayne has beautiful beaches and great water activities like boat rentals, scuba & snorkeling, kayaking, and canoeing, to name a few. I love The Marriott at Harbor Beach when I’m looking for a Spa experience. The Bayside Miami Boat Tour is also a very nice and picturesque experience. Sawgrass mall is one of the largest malls in Florida and is perfect for those shopping lovers.
When it comes to eating… Down in Miami Beach, Pura Vida has such a nice and healthy menu. There are plenty of locally owned places to visit; Myapapaya juicery + kitchen is one of the most delicious HEALTHY places to eat! In Fort Lauderdale, there’s Bombay Darbar, a fantastic Indian-Fusion restaurant, and S3-Sun Surf Sand is a must go for sushi and girls night out. If you’re over in North Miami Beach, I recommend Krakatoa Indonesian Cuisine for a delightful Indonesian experience. There is also Zaika Indian Restaurant, a cozy place with great traditional Indian flavors. I was born and raised in Venezuela, so I will always take my friends to a Venezuelan Restaurant. My favorite ones are both in Doral city: Parrillada Familiar Da Silva and you can’t miss the burgers from Pepito’s Plaza.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It would be impossible to just name one book or person after so many years of continued education and self-improvement, but definitely my biggest inspiration is God and My Family! My husband is the most loving, caring and supportive man ever! For me it isn’t about “my success” because it is always about “our success!” Every morning I listen to the daily mass on YouTube and I also like reading Joyce Meyer books. Some of my favorite readings for people that need inspiration to pursue their dreams are: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield, Life Without Limits by Nick Vujicic, The Power of I Am by Joel Osteen, and The Diary Of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. All of these had such an impact on my life. I am a BELIEVER so I love to see opportunities where people see struggles.
