We had the good fortune of connecting with Marianna Blyumin-Karasik and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marianna, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
As a parent, I feel very grateful for my three bright, interesting, and unique children. They teach me life lessons everyday and I strongly believe they make me a better person. And as every professional parent, I often struggle with work-life balance. I’m passionate about my profession as a dermatologist, practice co-founder (Precision Skin Institute), and a cosmetics line creator (@staminacosmetics). I love my family and they are always my ultimate priority. Yet, my tenacious drive and determination lead me to achieve significant leaps. Sometimes these accomplishments may be at the crossroads with my life’s fulfillments’ such as good times with the family and friends, mindful self-care, and educational endeavors.. It is tough to navigate these multiple dreams and roles. What I have learned through these challenging experiences, is that life’s joyful harmony can be attained when the achievement and fulfillment can blend into a meaningful melody. I feel that the most important impact I have on my children is being a role model for this perspective. Life’s meaning and purpose lead the way, we just need to look for the signs of our “why.” – Dr. Marianna Blyumin-Karasik #dermwithstamina

Thank you to my loving parents, Larisa and Leonid Blyumin, my supportive husband, Gregory Karasik, and caring children, Lili, Emma, and Edward. Also a big thank you to all my mentors at University of Miami, Department of Dermatology and Georgetown University Medical School for believing in me and giving my career wings to fly.
