We had the good fortune of connecting with Marika Frumes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marika, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
At Mysha, everything I create is rooted in one question: does this foster meaningful connection? For me, connection is the ultimate success metric. I’ve seen firsthand that mothers don’t just need more events or more groups — they need spaces where they can genuinely feel seen, supported, and inspired. That’s why I’m intentional about ensuring everything we produce, whether it’s a 10-person circle or a 100-person gathering, is high-quality — not just in how it looks and feels, but in the way it facilitates true friendship. I think of value less as a transaction and more as transformation: if a mom leaves a Mysha experience feeling connected, nourished, and part of something bigger than herself, then we’ve done our job. Quality for me is never surface-level — it’s about curating the right energy, the right people, and the right environment so that connection becomes inevitable.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Mysha is the only real-time motherhood care platform in the digital wellness space that delivers curated peer support, expert-informed content, and proactive emotional regulation for high-capacity women navigating early motherhood—through our trained pod model and high-touch experience design—because we believe new moms deserve to feel held, whole, and like themselves again.
In an era of chaotic WhatsApp threads, one-size-fits-all advice, and passive content feeds, we refuse to hand off motherhood care to algorithms, outdated curriculums, or untrained moderators. With our real-time, emotionally attuned scaffolding, our members get smart, nuanced, real-time support that actually shifts their day, not just clutters their inbox.

The only reason we are here was because mothers had a need for authentic connection. To be seen and heard as they navigate the complexities of postpartum. We showed up with intentional spaces and a value forward approach to the way we gather IRL and virtually. Now Mysha is the premier community for mothers living bold lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d decamp at The Standard for at least one day to decompress from family life and enjoy the spa.
Dinner at Abbale
Ice cream at Peels
Dinner at Sunny’s
Coffee at Maman
Sat AM movement with Ashly Katz at IMA

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This summer I discovered David Ghiyam, a Kabbalist and founder whose way of presenting Kabbalah has deeply resonated with me. His teachings have shifted how I show up for myself — and, as a result, how I show up for the Mysha community. I also have to mention my coach, Amanda Baudier. She’s a modern-day witch in the best sense of the word, and her guidance keeps me grounded and balanced through all the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
