We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Idrovo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mario, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting a business was simple: I wanted to create what I felt was missing. With my background in coffee, I’ve always believed there’s more to it than just going to a café or making it at home. Those experiences are great—I do them every day—but I was excited by the idea of making high-quality coffee available in more interesting and unexpected places.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business started with one simple idea: great coffee deserves to be experienced in more places than just cafés or kitchens. I’ve always felt there was something missing in how coffee is shared with people—so I set out to change that. We create specialty coffee experiences in unexpected settings: weddings, events, offices, even rooftops and beaches. What sets us apart is the quality of our coffee and the way we present it—it’s not just a drink, it’s a moment.

I’m most proud of the reactions we get from people who didn’t expect coffee to be this good at an event. And I’m excited about how fast we’re growing, especially considering where we started—with just one machine, an idea, and some big dreams.

It definitely hasn’t been easy. At the beginning, there were so many logistical challenges—equipment, staff, convincing people this was worth booking. What helped me push through was knowing we were creating something new, something people hadn’t experienced before. I’ve learned that consistency beats motivation every time. And that if you really believe in what you’re offering, people eventually do too.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know about us, it’s that we’re not just serving coffee—we’re redefining where and how people experience it. We’re driven by passion, precision, and a love for surprising people with something better than they expected.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the culture and energy in Miami. I’m a big fan of good food, great coffee, and of course, the beaches. I’d definitely spend time in Miami Beach, grab amazing coffee and food in Wynwood and the Design District, and just go with the flow—soaking in the vibes and discovering hidden gems along the way.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! Huge shoutout to my parents—they’ve always supported me and my crazy ideas, even when it wasn’t easy to understand or accept at first. And I also want to recognize my mentor, Pil Hoon Seu of Coffee Libre in South Korea. He’s been a true inspiration, a guiding mentor, and most importantly, a real friend throughout this journey.
