We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Soria and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mario, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
We have made the decision to impact the world through financial education and leadership. We love helping people improve their finances, get out of bad debts, and create their own investments. So, we have dedicated ourselves to teaching financial education to more than 20,000 people in Latin America.
In most educational models, they closely resemble traditional schooling, which can be boring and have little impact on people’s lives. That is why our model is experiential, using dynamic methods to make it easy and enjoyable for people to develop good financial habits.
Our mission is to train more than 10,000 training leaders to help us spread this knowledge and make finances easy and fun
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets us apart from the rest is that we make things fun and easy to learn. This makes the information applicable in people’s daily lives. What we are proud of is seeing how people improve their lives by applying this knowledge day by day.
The journey has been long with many ups and downs. We’ve faced numerous challenges and difficult moments. For instance, the pandemic changed our in-person training model to virtual, and we had to establish new standards to provide the best digital experience. This led us to expand to more than 15 countries and multiple cities with financial education. Being resilient and adaptable is crucial.
That’s how Bonsite Club was born in 2023, with a mission to make finances fun and easy. Our goal is to help people improve their wealth, whether by learning to make investments, getting out of bad debts, or making better financial decisions—taking control of their finances. We believe that wealth goes beyond money; it’s part of holistic well-being in the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects. And it’s the spirit that guides you, especially in the most challenging times of your life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I am in Lima, Peru, the best thing about this city is the food. We have top restaurants in the world and many others with excellent variety. Besides, there is a very good cultural diversity.
The first thing would be a delicious breakfast with a sea view. One of the best places is Larcomar shopping center in Miraflores. Visiting this shopping center, which is right in front of the sea, is a unique experience.
Then, it would be great to take a city tour in downtown Lima, which has incredible architecture from the colonial and republican eras.
The Water Park is a must-see, one of the largest fountain parks in the world, with beautiful shows during the evenings.
Regarding food, we have incredible options for lunches and dinners every day. You can try traditional Peruvian food and Peruvian fusion, such as Peruvian-Japanese, Peruvian-Chinese, Peruvian-Italian, among others. The flavors of Peruvian food are explosive. You must try Peruvian ceviche.
Near Lima is Ica, where you have an oasis in the middle of the desert and can go dune buggying. There are also boat tours to see sea lions and penguins.
And if you come to Peru, you can’t leave without visiting Machu Picchu. In addition to Cusco and many wonderful archaeological areas.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my gratitude to Robert Kiyosaki, who has trained me on multiple occasions in the field of finance. Also, to the leadership team of Bonsite Club, with whom we have group meetings every week, helping us stay on track with our goals and objectives. Thanks to my parents Inés and Mario for all their support and love, and to my wife Tamara, who fills our home with love. Special thanks to my sister Marinés, who is a great inspiration. I appreciate my best friend Pablo Miu, who is an excellent entrepreneur and investor and serves as a great mentor to me.
I highly recommend reading ‘The Richest Man in Babylon’ and ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad.’
