We had the good fortune of connecting with Marion Pigeot and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marion, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Design is my whole life. My brand’s success is fueled by a constant desire to surround myself with art and culture worldwide and be experimental. Textures, symmetries, color palettes, mother nature is where I get all my inspiration from. My passion is fulfilled by pushing the boundaries and creating new experiences, which I thrive on in every project.
As a brand and web designer, there are many ways to achieve success. My secret is to keep an open mind with every client and style I encounter and ask myself how people want to feel and experience their new brand. Yes, everything is an experience, from the first client meeting to the font selection and logo development.
My goal is to take something and give it a new life, modernize it, break some rules, and something beautiful always happens. Passion and curiosity are how I build long-lasting success.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work has always been about creating visual experiences. First as an Interior Designer and now as a Graphic Designer. My strong desire to expand my design knowledge led me to open my own brand and web design business in only two months.
I started my career studying relationships between people and interior spaces and oriented myself towards the graphic world. I see brand and web design as creating interior spaces, though in a more virtual and minimal way. My designs explore connections between humans and their environments by using interior principles to influence my design decisions. Creating online homes for emerging and existing businesses has become my pride! My designs have allowed me to connect with people from all over the world, giving me the international connections I thrive for.
One thing I want people to know about my designs is that they highlight our senses and emotions. Brands are much more than just logos. If done right, they can evoke feelings, deliver powerful messages, and reflect who we are. I help my clients fall back in love with their business.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live for adventures, and planning trips is another passion of mine. Here are a few activities I would do:
Buffalo Tiger Airboat Tour
You cannot go to Florida without stopping by the everglades. Riding the airboats and seeing the alligators is such a fun way to kick-start a Florida trip.
Spend a day in Miami
-Visit the Superblue Miami Museum.
-Roller Skate on ocean drive.
-Drive around Key Biscayne and stop at Crandon Park for a picnic.
-Go to Bayside market for food, drinks, and boat rides.
-Relax at Joia Beach for happy hour on the beach.
-Rent a slingshot and drive around the city.
Drive to the west coast
-Visit St. Petersburg and make a stop at the Dali Museum.
-Sanibel Island is a must-do. Best to see the most beautiful sunsets.
-Drive south to Marcos Island for the best resorts and beaches.
Explore Boca Raton and Delray Beach
-Walk around Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Go to the art museum, take a cooking class at “Sur La Table,” eat at Villagio for great Italian food, and shop around.
-Go to Atlantic Avenue and eat the best nachos at El Camino.
Drive to Key West.
-Rent scooters.
-Grab and picnic and go to Fort Zahary Taylor Historic State Park.
-Walk on Duval Street.
And the list goes on…
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Whether we realize it or not, people around us play a role in our success. They certainly did in mine. From the constant support of my fiancé and family to the skills, confidence, and mentorship I received from my design degree at FSU and online courses like the Bucketlist Bombshells Community. Most importantly, what fun would success be without people to share it with?
