We had the good fortune of connecting with Mason Domecq and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mason, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
No matter what, everyone has to wake up in the morning and go do something with their lives. Go work, go study, go train, go volunteer, go raise children, go be a mother, a father, a role model. No matter what you may think, this is entirely voluntary! And even more important, this is entirely up to you to decide. The decisions you make on a daily basis put you exactly in the life positions you end up in.
When creating DIVINI, I wanted to create life scenarios that would allow me to 100x my social connections and relationships, work everyday helping and inspiring people to be healthier, and build a network of people that wanted to change the world everyday.
Oftentimes, people put the weight of the world on their shoulders. They don’t want to let their loved ones down or the people closest to them. If God has placed a thought in your mind and a desire in your heart, nobody can take that away from you.
Why not take the risk when you have the opportunity and know exactly what it is you want to do? The clock is ticking, and it ain’t waiting for you…
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The concept of building a brand is pretty straightforward:
1) Find a concept or image and turn it into a symbol of something greater.
2) Find a product innovation that you created that separates you from everyone else in the world.
3) Find the right partners with enough social leverage, time energy, vision, and drive to pursue it with you for multiple years.
4) Find the best people in the world doing amazing things and get them involved.
5) Build a brand that the whole world loves and makes everyone’s lives better.
Our symbol is normalizing health in the United States by combining both wellness and creativity to inspire our next generation of world changers. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Scottsdale, AZ weekend Itinerary:
Morning hike on Tom’s Thumb followed by brunch at Soul Cafe. A day trip to Sedona is always a must for anyone visiting Arizona. We have amazing cuisine all around the Valley from Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, etc… Old Town is always the spot to walk around, get coffee, and feel like a local!
