We had the good fortune of connecting with Max Duckworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Max, how does your business help the community?
Everyone and everything has an interesting and beautiful angle to photograph. I am here to find that angle in every subject that comes across my lens. I am passionate about helping people show off their beautiful personalities–whether that means a stunning portrait or an in-depth look at someone’s products for sale. I firmly believe everyone is so beautiful, right at this moment. I am on a mission to help as many people as I can see this the way I get to through my camera.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a photographer, what sets me apart is my unusual perspective. I can often be found away from the typical vantage point, seeking a new angle. I take pride in my dedication to crafting beautiful images, conveying emotions and highlighting all types of beauty.
My journey to where I am today professionally has been filled with challenges. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of businesses and marketing skills. A mediocre product or service will still make money with excellent marketing, but even the best product will not make any difference if it is locked away in the inventor’s closet.
I want the world to know that I’m passionate about using photography as a tool for connection, expression, and positive change. Whether it’s through my commercial work, personal projects, or collaborations, my goal is to inspire and leave a meaningful impact through my art.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love living in Boynton Beach, Florida. I like to go to breakfast at beachside cafes like The Dune Deck Café or Benny’s on the Beach. There are so many beautiful parks, Oceanfront Park Beach or Morikami Japanese Gardens are two of my favorites.
Don’t forget to have dinner at Prime Catch! I love sitting at the island bar on the Intracoastal.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This shoutout is dedicated to Nicole at Dear Handmade Life. She runs an amazing conference called Craftcation every year that is a soul-filling week full of both learning and making. She supports so many small business owners and makers. I would be thrilled to be able to reach even a fraction of the amount of lives she has improved.
