Meet Max Steven Grossman | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Max Steven Grossman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Max Steven, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
After spending time in a career that wasn’t fulfilling . I found in the arts a way to have the freedom for expression and passion that I was searching.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In my world it’s more about persistence and consistency. For every ten doors that closed, one would open. The key was to keep knocking.. I have a new painting series I started since the Corona pandemic . It deals mainly with emotions and connecting me with the physical outwards of my limits .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Here in Miami there is plenty of nature plans like a visit to the Everglades or just relaxing at the beach. To see Art I would take them to see the Rubell Museum also in the design district De la Cruz Collection and  the ICA is a must . For food there is plenty to pick from but, We would go to Mandolin Aegean Bistro.. I also would take them to Stiltsville Fish bar for some local catch. And to  finish up the week I go visit The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse and the PAMM museum .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents deserve much of the credit for their support even if I wasn’t sure where I was going specially art being a very unpredictable way to earn a living . They always provided a layer of support. My representatives also deserve most of the credit for showing my work and believing in what I do.
