Hi Miah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
What is funny is I never thought I would be a business owner. I thought I would go to college, become an engineer, and work my way up the chain.

It all changed when I met my husband. He opened my eyes to see that there was more to life than just working up a chain. I knew I wanted to be home with my family and fulfill my purpose by helping women. Content creation just fell in my lap and I stepped out on faith. Now, I can support my family and still enjoy them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from other creatives is my consistency and authenticity. That is how I got to where I am now in my career. It is hard staying true to who I am and what I know. I had to learn to be content with the now. Once I mastered that, I was less focused on what others were doing and more on what I was accomplishing.

What I have learned on this journey so far is to be you. Follow some trends, not all trends. When you think no one is watching, someone is. My brand is the representation of being true to you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest, I am more of a boardwalk kind of girl. I want to make memories and create an experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give credit to my husband. Honestly, if it had not been for him being there in my darkest hour, I would not be the bomb creator I am. I also would like to give credit to my kids. My kids always compliment me on what I do. They are so young, but they admire everything I do.
