We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Bordenaro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?

Honesty and integrity. Coming from the real estate business there are a lot people who have no problem stabbing you in the back for their own benefit. Or to sell a client a property they know they shouldn’t buy, just because it makes them a commission.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Right now my main focus is producing YouTube videos for my channel http://www.youtube.com/c/MichaelBordenaro. The main thing that I believe that has led to growth and success on the channel is my willingness to help people to have questions that I have answered hundreds of times with my real estate experience. Also the fact that I foster a community on the channel and make videos that help others. The main lesson I learned in the year and a half I’ve been on YouTube so far is make videos that people want to watch and the rest will follow. I want everyone to know that I have a blast making these videos and the fact that so many people watch them and our health by them “ are helped by them” gives me a ton of joy!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

First and foremost I would take him to the beach as that is the main attraction of living in Miami in my opinion. Then maybe rent a boat for a day and enjoyed the boring “ boating” lifestyle. Another day maybe take him to the Everglades to see the gators and the natural beauty of South Florida. As far as eats I would definitely have to take him to Carpaccio and Houston’s which are my favorite restaurants in Miami. To me all of Miami is very exciting and full of life and I don’t think you can go wrong going pretty much anywhere in the city and hanging out. Also a trip to South pointe Park would definitely be in order and checking out the pier

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

Definitely my family. Even though they did not want me to move from IL to FL at the young age of 20, I did it anyway and they were behind me every step of the way. I always had ambition and drive but the real turning point for me was around 2014 when I first read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. It completely altered the way I looked at money and investing and I am certain that one book has lead to me making numerous smart financial decisions since. Investing in real estate, gold, silver bitcoin etc.
