We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Landers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michele, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I was born in the northeast. My heritage is Italian and if you know Italians, we tend to be “expressive.” And so I grew up in a dramatic environment. . As an Italian, this meant Catholic church and school. Without delving deeper, I was indoctrinated into a skewed world view. I began to question everything; why are we here? what is our purpose? Is there a God and lots of other questions that don’t have a clear cut answer. I began my career working for a neurosurgeon in administration and I can see how that “supposedly” random job, actually deepened my curiosity and my questions. I loved learning about our brain and how it functions and processes information along these tiny branches called neural pathways, Eventually we opened up a Pain Clinic and as a result I had the opportunity to witness how powerful our mind is. That sent me off investigating eastern philosophies, psychology, mind set, law of attraction and eventually I fell down the rabbit hole of quantum physics. Not that I have even a modest understanding… but it makes for interesting reading and for me the possibility of confirming that we are all energetically connected. I studied addiction counseling for a brief period but finally landed as a life coach , hypnotherapist and a numerologist. My early environment, my relationships and my early career all helped shape me into who I am today.. I am deeply passionate about supporting people in finding their own solutions. After all we are all our own best “guru.” We just need someone to coax out our uniqueness, our confidence, our talents and our greatness.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am specifically trained to help you find your purpose and get you on the right path in your life. Through experience and training, I have developed a coaching process that is effective on its own in many ways and also in combination with numerology, hypnotherapy and even past life regression has helped people realize their highest potential and how to release out worn beliefs. As I mentioned previously, my experience with Dr Friedman was the catalyst for many of my beliefs and my practice today. Was it easy? I would say it was circuitous! I’ve learned so much about human behavior and of course my own behavior patterns. I learned that stress is not about the event or person, but our interpretation of the event or person. That we are one thought away from feeling happy and at peace. What I would want the world to know about me and about my practice is that while it may seem that others have the secret to being happy, the reality is, you are not alone, and you can change your life so that you experience more fulfillment and joy. But you have to know how to make that happen. Because of my varied background, my personal experiences, my training in different modalities, and a passion for helping, I get to live a life of joy by being in service to others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, I’m a foodie (and Italian) so my first job as a hostess would be to take you to a few local restaurants that would hopefully make you swoon! Pricey but great: Okeechobee Steak House and Okeechobee Seafood. Capital grille, great food, great service. Bice on the Island of Palm Beach and while we’re there we can stroll on the “Rodeo Drive” of Palm Beach, Worth Ave. There are lots of unique shops and places to get coffee or a quick bite. If they’re playing, we would have to check out The Wildfire Band and the amazingly talented violinist, Randi Fishenfeld. There are plenty of places to shop and if we were so inclined, we could take a trip down to the Keys. Although right in our backyard, the Keys feel like a world away. Lets go snorkeling at John Pennekamp or for an even better “hands on” experience let’s swim with the dolphins. And of course can’t miss the food at The island Fish Co in Marathon. Stay overnight at Isle Bella . We’ll feel like we’re transported to Greece and it’s right on the ocean. I think that’s enough activity… unless we decide to head down to the the Keys Southermost Pointe in Key West and then to the Hemingway House and of course, we would have to make a stop at “Better than Sex” dessert restaurant for divine sweets! Okay.. I’m exhausted and need a nap and a drink!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and friends of course. Dr Kevin Quinn Avery for teaching me about the wild world of metaphysics. Dr. Stuart Friedman for teaching me about the fascinating world of neurology. Dr Joe Dispenza & Dr Bruce Lipton for their clarity in presenting information on the power of our thoughts. Dr Edgar Mitchell, Astronaut and 6th man to walk on the moon, for our one on one conversation and his validation of our connection to the quantum field. I’m certain my list could be pages., but these people are first to come to mind
