We had the good fortune of connecting with Miichii and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi MIICHII, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea for starting Readysound.io came from a place of pure nerdiness and passion, as well as my desire to output everything I learned in Full Sail University as an Audio Engineer. I’ve been deep into electronic music production for a while, and as I kept growing and experimenting, I found myself really enjoying the technical side of things—like, way too much. I realized I was constantly talking to friends and other producers about the ins and outs of audio engineering, and I figured, why not turn that into something more structured?

Readysound.io became this newsletter where I could nerd out about all things audio and share what I’m learning along the way. It’s also about me wanting to connect with others who love this stuff as much as I do and to give back to the community by sharing tips, tricks, and insights that might help someone else on their journey. Plus, it’s a great excuse to dive even deeper into the technical side of my own music production.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is all about creating electronic music that’s not just heard but felt. I’m constantly experimenting with sounds and textures, trying to craft something that resonates on a deeper level. What sets me apart, I think, is my approach to blending the technical with the emotional—I’m just as obsessed with the process of sculpting a sound as I am with the feeling it evokes. I’m really proud of the way I’ve managed to stay true to my own sound while continuously evolving, and that’s something I’m really excited about as I move forward.

Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t easy. There were a lot of late nights, moments of doubt, and times when I felt like I was hitting a wall. But those challenges forced me to dig deeper, to push past my comfort zone, and to keep learning. I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that persistence is key. You have to be willing to put in the work, even when it’s tough, and stay focused on your goals.

Another lesson is to stay curious. My journey has been all about learning—whether it’s figuring out a new piece of gear, diving into the history of a genre, or just listening to how other artists approach their craft. That curiosity keeps me inspired and drives me to keep growing as an artist.

What I want the world to know about me is that I’m here for the long haul. My music and my new venture with Readysound.io are both reflections of who I am—a bit of a nerd, someone who loves to experiment, and someone who’s passionate about sharing what I know with others. My story is still being written, and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d want to give them a taste of everything that makes Miami special. We’d definitely spend some time just walking around the city, soaking in the vibrant culture, and enjoying the beautiful weather. We’d hit up Planta for a meal—it’s a vegan restaurant that even hardcore carnivores can appreciate. The food is so good that you forget it’s plant-based. For a unique, laid-back night, we’d head to Dante’s HiFi, a vinyl listening bar where the music and atmosphere transport you to another era. Speaking of drinks, Swizzle is a must-visit—a rum-based speakeasy that feels like you’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem. And of course, no trip would be complete without a night at Do Not Sit on The Furniture. It’s an intimate underground nightclub that’s all about the music and the community vibe—definitely one of those places where you can lose yourself in the moment. Overall, we’d mix in some exploration of Miami’s art and beach scenes with these standout spots to make sure the trip is unforgettable.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
