Hi Miles, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting Colorimetry stemmed from a combination of passion, innovation, and a desire to enhance everyday experiences through technology and art. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of light and color to transform spaces and create incredible immersive experiences. . My interest in technology and design led me to explore how LED lights could be used creatively to bring images to life.
People are increasingly looking for ways to personalize their spaces.

Lighting can significantly impact emotions and atmosphere. I wanted to create products that evoke emotions and enhance experiences. The idea of art that “comes to life” resonated with me as a way to offer something unique and impactful.

I’ve always had a drive to create and build something from the ground up. Starting my own business allowed me to channel my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit into a venture that aligns with my values and aspirations.
I wanted Colorimetry to stand out not just for its innovative products but also for its commitment to quality.

My vision is to push the boundaries of what’s possible with lighting technology and to continue developing products that inspire and delight customers. I’m excited about the future of Colorimetry and the potential to expand into new markets and applications.

Colorimetry is a company dedicated to revolutionizing the way we experience art.
Our lights are designed to be interactive and user-friendly and our products offer endless possibilities.

We prioritize customer satisfaction and support. From user-friendly interfaces to responsive customer service, we aim to make every interaction with our brand a positive one.

Getting to where we are today has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs. Starting a business is never easy, but each obstacle has taught us valuable lessons. Like many startups, we faced challenges in securing funding and building a strong team. Navigating the competitive landscape required persistence and strategic planning.

We overcame these challenges through a combination of determination, adaptability, and support from our partners and mentors. Staying focused on our vision and being open to feedback allowed us to grow and improve.

The market is always changing, and being able to pivot and adapt is essential for success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would eat at the best local spots around. I am not into the fancy-pansy, but rather the home grown and family owned operations. I find those have the best eats and atmospheres. We would go to farmers markets, lakes, and of course spend some time watching movies and relaxing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
n my journey of building Colorimetry, there are several people who deserve immense credit and recognition for their unwavering support and inspiration.

My Girlfriend, Anna has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation. Her belief in my vision and her emotional support have been incredible. She’s helped me stay grounded during challenging times.

My parents and my sister have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and instilled in me the values of hard work and perseverance..

My business partners that I would not be here without. I am incredibly fortunate to work with a team of talented and passionate individuals who share my vision for Colorimetry. My business partners have brought their unique skills and expertise to the table, and together, we’ve been able to turn ideas into reality. Their dedication and collaboration have been critical to the success of our company, and I’m grateful for their trust and commitment.
