We had the good fortune of connecting with Mili Ristic and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mili, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing outsiders need to know is that being aware and knowing your own software, which is your mind is very powerful. Once you know how your mind works and how to use it to create the life you always wanted to live, everything changes. You see the World through different lenses, and you can attract what you wish for. You start to believe more in yourself, to see the half glass full vs. half glass empty, everything starts to have mining, and your personal and professional life starts to flourish. Just one shift in your thinking makes you thrive. I love to see those transformations with my clients. It is so fulfilling as it doesn’t impact only their lives but has an impact on their family, their business, clients, and everyone they get in touch with.

What should our readers know about your business?
The name of my firm is Milor Coaching, and OR in Hebrew means Light. I bring Light, excitement, inspiration, and hope, and I help them Turn Their Magic on, which we all have within. With the right coaching tools and my energy, I guide my clients to bring that magic from within to the surface, inspiring them to take action in creating and achieving their dream goals and living better and fulfilling lives.

Many exciting things are happening at the moment; one of them is my speaking engagement at the HEAL conference on July 28th in Tampa; two podcast interviews this month are exciting too. I am launching two programs this year for female business owners, one is coming up in a month and a half, and it’s called “How to be a Star of Your Movie.” The other one is coming up in late fall; it is a ten weeks program called Female Fatal Academy for female business owners who want to become complete. It is a program for inside-out transformation where I am collaborating with seven more experts to help women become complete in every area of their life. I will be coaching them on their mindset, habits, self-image, etc., and the other experts that are coming are the Public Speaking coach, Executive stylist, Breathwork coach, Love coach, Nutritionist, Love your body coach, Face yoga coach, etc. It is a holistic approach to fill in the gaps we all are missing.

Every start of something new, especially leaving your 9-5 job to start your own business, is a challenging move, as you are going from security and conformity to uncertainty and the unknown. I am proud that I took that risk and followed that inner voice. My journey was challenging, but I made it easy. When I say that, I mean – I had ups and downs, but I always looked at downs as a learning lesson, and there were many. All these situations made me who I am and where my business is today. There were moments when my logical mind was telling me to give up but something much stronger and deeper within me knew that giving up was not an option. The world needs what I teach, and it is bigger than me. Looking back now, the biggest lesson I have learned is to never doubt myself and my abilities. This lesson is connected with my self-belief, self-love, and self-confidence that I shifted over time.

I always say when coaching my clients or on my public speaking engagements, If I, an immigrant coming from a small country in Europe, not speaking proper English, and have not finished University here, without family and any support in this country, can create and live the life of my dreams, imagine what you can do having the support and speaking fluent English! Everything is possible if you believe it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is a very outdoorsy city. Going to the beach is always the number one thing; hanging by the pool and watching the sunset or just walking by South Point Park to watch the sunset is a must. I always bring my friends to the Living room at Faena; they have great music and a good crowd. Call Me Gaby is one of my favorite places; Casa Tua Cucina in Brickell, Lido at the Standard, Design District, and Midtown also have excellent options. I also love visiting the Bazar store with friends in Coconut Grove and grabbing coffee there on Sundays; they have live music. I also love Bellini at Mr. C’s hotel.

I usually have them bike with me over the Venetian Bridge as the scenery is beautiful. We would sometimes have a boat day as well. Brunch at Kiki on the river and cocktails at Socialista in the evening are fantastic. A new rooftop recently opened in Edgewater called Klaw is a great place to chill out.

I love to connect my friends out of Miami to my friends from Miami, so usually, there are many different activities with mixed groups as well.

Depending on who is visiting, their interest, and how many times they were in Miami  or that would be their first time – Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is also a must-see.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Many of them made me the person I am now. I would not be here today without their support, guidance, coaching, and mentorship. My family and how I grew up shaped me the way I am now. Many mistakes and lessons I have learned had a tremendous impact on who I am today as well. My friends worldwide and the closest one (you know who you are) were and still are extensive support and cheerleaders for everything I do.

Bob Proctor sadly passed away recently, and Proctor Gallagher Institute was the first to inspired me to follow his steps and become the coach helping others achieve their dreams. His teaching made me step into the Personal Development world. Along the way, with other great teachers and coaches, such as Dr. Joe Dispenza, Neville Goddard, Neil Donald Walsh, Joseph Murphy, Abraham Hicks, Louise Hay, Theta Healing Organization, many colleagues that are in different spheres of coaching … friends, also my German coach Miss Smarthead, Canadian Coach Kathleen Cameron, Arash Vossoughi, Dave Conway, Sena Bekric – Theta Healer, Doug Dane, Iouri Matsakov – Theta Healer and many more …
