Hi Miller, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
In all of my years of business, one thing is always priority. Problem solving.

Our mission is that we will always solve a customers problem, within or out of our reach. The main idea that started Star Equipment Services LLC was to have a solution focused on repair.

Most factories and individuals that we serve, have had a need for years for a professional location where they can trust to have certified techs working on getting their equipment back to work. I felt the need as fabricator myself and related how down time in equipment costs a great amount to the business bottom line.

I set out to start a solutions based company for a market that had a bad reputation for professionalism in our area. Immediately we started receiving positive feedback from our efficiency and internal systems. Our estimates are clear and repairs explained and sent for online approval. All equipment is photographed and parts that need replacing are pictured. Customers can see when the repairs are done no matter how complex the issue is. Once machines are repaired a test video is made for confirmation. This clarity along with our professional attitude has quickly build a Star Equipment Services as a synonym for excellence in equipment repair.

We are continuing to make improvements to our system, and will keep growing with our customers needs to always be ahead of the curve when it comes to efficient equipment repairs.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Getting to where I am today was a great challenge. Even with the greatest amount of preparation nothing truly prepared me for running this business. I have overcame these challenges by being true to the mission of the company and treating co- workers as I have always wanted to be treated in other companies. The lessons I have learned that no matter how much planning goes into starting a business, if you’re not ready to change directions and adapt to the environment you will never succeed in entrepreneurship. The brand of my business carries great history, it was a long dream for my parents even before coming to this country. After a lot of courage and dedication we move to Florida in the early 90’s where my father decided to open his business with no much aside from courage and a vision. The business grew and was successful throughout the 90s and 2000’s until his retirement. Following his legacy I decide to honor him by naming my business after his.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend would come to my beautiful city of Miami, I would show him all the iconic places where Miami Vice was filmed. I am a huge Miami vice fan and I love history. A perfect day in my city would be visiting iconic staples in Miami , eating delicious Italian food and wine at my favorite restaurant Cafe Italia in Coral Gables. I am a very laid back person so friends in town can consist of a driver down to the beautiful Florida keys for some relaxation and good food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Family has always been the core to my success in life. The best guidance comes from my grandfather Valdemar Reple and my Father Oduvaldo Mantovanelli who where both amazing entrepreneurs. They have instilled in me the ability to lead a successful business and appreciate the people that have helped along the way.
