Meet Mitte Projects | Art Platform

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mitte Projects and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mitte, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The idea of starting Mitte Projects came from a deep passion for creating spaces that inspire and connect while making art more accessible to a wider audience. We envisioned a platform that goes beyond traditional galleries by curating immersive experiences where art transforms into something you don’t just view but truly feel and live.
Our mission is to not only showcase emerging talent but also empower artists by providing them with opportunities to thrive. We aim to create a community that values creativity, fosters meaningful engagement, and celebrates the transformative power of art.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Mitte Projects is more than an art platform—it’s a movement dedicated to fostering creativity and human connection. What sets us apart is our focus on creating experiences that go beyond traditional exhibitions. We work closely with emerging and established artists to curate dynamic spaces where art becomes a sensory and emotional journey. Our mission is to make art accessible, relevant, and transformative, bridging the gap between artists and audiences.
What are you most proud of or excited about?
We’re incredibly proud of the vibrant community we’ve built, one that celebrates diversity, talent, and innovation. Each project feels like a milestone, but what excites us most is the potential to keep discovering new voices in art and amplifying their work. Watching artists flourish and seeing the impact their creations have on people is truly rewarding.
How did you get to where you are today professionally? Was it easy?
Our journey has been anything but easy. It’s been filled with challenges, from finding our footing in a competitive industry to navigating the logistics of creating large-scale exhibitions. However, our passion for art and our belief in its transformative power kept us moving forward. Every obstacle became a lesson, every setback an opportunity to innovate and grow.
How did you overcome the challenges?
We overcame challenges through perseverance, collaboration, and staying true to our vision. Surrounding ourselves with a supportive network of artists, collaborators, and patrons made all the difference. We’ve also embraced adaptability, understanding that creativity often thrives in the face of uncertainty.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is the importance of community. Success doesn’t happen in isolation—it’s a collective effort. We’ve also learned the value of authenticity. Staying true to our mission and core values has helped us build trust and resonance with both artists and audiences.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Mitte Projects is a celebration of creativity and connection. Our story is one of passion, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of art to inspire change. We want the world to know that art is for everyone, and through our platform, we’re committed to creating spaces where art transcends boundaries, ignites dialogue, and fosters a sense of belonging.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d start with Coconut Grove for its charming vibe, great restaurants like Koko or Amal, and beautiful spots like Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. A visit to the PAMM is a must for its incredible art and waterfront views, followed by exploring Wynwood’s vibrant murals, galleries, and standout dining at KYU or Doya. We’d spend time in the Miami Design District, enjoying luxury boutiques, public art, and dining at Swan or Mandolin Aegean Bistro. South Beach is perfect for a day of sun and nightlife, while Key Biscayne offers a more serene escape with its beaches and lighthouse. To round out the week, we’d visit Little Havana for Cuban culture and end with a stroll through Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The success of Mitte Projects would not be possible without the incredible artists who have been part of our community since the very beginning. Artists like Ernesto Kunde, Fernando Cuetara, Vic Garcia, and Jose Margulis, to name just a few, have played an essential role in shaping each exhibition.
Their talent, enthusiasm, and positive disposition make every collaboration a truly rewarding experience. It’s their creativity and dedication that bring our vision to life, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions to this journey.
