We had the good fortune of connecting with Mo Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mo, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I got tired of making my former bosses money and having the feelings like i was being used I wanted to take on full responsibility for making it happen for myself and my family and I really love what I do I can’t see myself doing anything else

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well I’ve been always the type to not go by the standards I’ve always carved my own path with the help and knowledge from friends in the industry along the way I’ve been very open minded never think I know it all or been 2 face or greedy but at the end of the day it’s what I have put put with my own 2 hands is what I think has been what’s pushed me forward it wasn’t easy even tho people say I make it look easy it’s really not especially coming from nothing I’ve built my business from the ground up that’s one of the things I’m proud about I’m still overcoming challenges today it’s a constant teaching environment.one of my differences about what I offer is attention to details also I’m very picky on what I let come out of my shop and that we treat everyone the same and with respect because without the people we wouldn’t be where we are today

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are from homestead FL so we are all about the tacos and a good mexican food spot plus I’m half Mexican so it works out maybe take them to a good taco place have some drinks there or maybe hang out at Winwood hop around the restaurants there go to the beach go bar hopping maybe take a fishing trip to the everglades can’t go wrong with Cuban food either there’s plenty if places in Miami for that

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well I was an automotive painter before a friend of mine asked me to paint his bike for him that was being built by a world renowned motorcycle builder “Warren Lane” also from Miami since then I’ve met alot of great people down the road and I’ve had alot of lessons thrown at me it’s all a learning experience
