We had the good fortune of connecting with Adin and Ben, Co-Founders of,  Modern Edge Collective and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adin and Ben, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
We’ve got a bunch of habits that have helped us get where we are today, but if there’s one to spotlight, it has to be self-discipline. Yes, setting clear goals is super important – it’s like having a roadmap. And sure, figuring out what needs our attention first keeps us from getting snowed under. But it’s that commitment to keeping on track, no matter the obstacles, that really sets us apart. Even when things get a bit rough, we stick to the grindstone and keep going. And while we’re always game to learn something new and make connections that open doors, it’s self-discipline that’s the real hero here.

What should our readers know about your business?
What truly differentiates Modern Edge is our vision for a future where creativity, technology, and design intersect, engendering a sense of community and connectivity through pioneering innovations and artistic avenues. We’re all about championing creators and assisting companies in realizing their maximum potential via state-of-the-art tools. Our mission also includes nurturing a diverse, closely-knit network that breaks free from conventional constraints.

We find ourselves eagerly anticipating the upcoming developments within these burgeoning tech spaces. In an industry as dynamic as ours, new functionalities and capabilities are constantly emerging and being accessible at our fingertips. Delivering these novel experiences to end-users is a commitment we hold dearly.

Our current standing wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our loved ones. Their belief in us propelled us to heights we could have never achieved on our own. The journey hasn’t been a cakewalk – there were countless late nights, an immense amount of research and development, and an unending series of virtual meetings. But by focusing on self-discipline and determination, and believing in our venture and what we’re creating, we overcame numerous obstacles.

Our voyage has been full of lessons, but if we had to pick one as most valuable, it would be the importance of authenticity. In an environment where hype can easily divert you, staying grounded and adhering to core values is what enables us to continue doing what we genuinely love.

If we were to convey one message about Modern Edge to the world, it would be our aim to assemble a robust collective of enterprises that not only sustain the tech ecosystem but also spearhead the evolution of technology that continually reshapes our present reality.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami is teeming with attractions that promise an exciting adventure. Definitely check out the immersive art experience at Superblue Miami or try to catch a Miami Heat game. A great place to walk around is Little Havana and admire the grandeur at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. At night, Club Space is a great place to go for dancing and house music and a walk down the main strip in South Beach is a must for its iconic Art Deco architecture.

Miami has great food, starting with 1-800-Lucky which is a bustling Asian-inspired food hall that serves up a variety of delicious bites. For a taste of Miami’s Cuban influence, Versailles is a culinary landmark. The best spot for sushi in Miami has to be Uchi, world renowned for its creative dishes. Each spot offers a unique taste of Miami’s diverse food scene, ensuring your culinary journey is as exciting as your sightseeing experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
One book that has truly left an indelible impression on us is “The Cold Start Problem” by Andrew Chen. This isn’t just a book; it’s an essential guide for anyone navigating the exciting but challenging landscape of start-ups. It offers a rich tapestry of insights into the intricacies of launching a start-up from scratch and strategically scaling it to enhance the probability of its success in today’s competitive market.

The book’s pragmatic approach and its clear, actionable advice have been instrumental in reshaping our understanding of business dynamics. It’s taught us to think differently about how we approach challenges and seize opportunities. Not only has it opened our eyes to new perspectives, but it’s also equipped us with the tools to effectively implement them in our own journey.

We can’t discuss our journey without giving a shout-out to Justin Kook, our co-founder and CTO. His expertise and leadership in our Modern Edge ventures have been nothing short of phenomenal. His tech acumen has been crucial in making our aspirations a reality.
