Hi Monique, what principle do you value most?
I believe that honesty is the key to life. I understand that dealing with finances can be a daunting task, which is why I strive to provide our clients with a safe and trustworthy environment. Our policy of honesty ensures that our clients can make informed decisions that will benefit them in the long run. We don’t believe in fast talkers or shady deals, but rather in building lasting relationships with our clients based on trust and transparency.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We all face challenges in life, but some of us have to go through more than others. As a single mom who, despite all the odds, managed to provide for my two kids after an abusive relationship. I started with very little and had to make ends meet while sleeping on a pull-out couch with my kids. The journey has not been easy, but I persevered through all the ups and downs. My story is one of determination, hard work, and resilience.

Mo Financial World LLC, founded by Monique Douglas in 2023. With over a decade of experience in the finance world, Monique saw an opportunity to create a company that offers a comprehensive range of financial services under one roof.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a big foodie !! I love food lol.

So I would make a list of great restaurants such as Eddie V’s, Wings Plus and find some local food trucks to get different variety of food. Hang out’s would be finding local spots in Los Olas and of course Fort Lauderdale beach for some fun in the sun as well .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We all need a little help from our friends and family to succeed in life. That’s why I want to give a huge shoutout to my village!

They have been my backbone, my support system, and my inspiration. I thank God for blessing me with such amazing people in my life. Whether I’m going through a tough time or celebrating a big win, they are always there for me.

To my best friend I remember the day you yelled at me reminding to follow my dreams and for that I am forever grateful.

My village has been with me through thick and thin, and I couldn’t have made it this far without them. To my children, my best friend, and my phenomenal woman crew, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the real MVPs!
