We had the good fortune of connecting with Nacile and Keifer Sharpe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nacile and Keifer, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Being organized is very important. If things are functional and in order you will save time and tons of money.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are Nacile and Keifer Sharpe; a husband and wife team who curates an all-natural ginger lemonade that gets you hooked after the very first sip. Böld Quality Lemonaide is made with 5 simple ingredients: alkaline water, freshly squeezed lemon juice, organic ginger, organic cane sugar and pear essence imported from the island of Grenada.

As many businesses do, Böld started in our home kitchen. It was served for dinner one evening and Keifer’s eyes lit up with pleasure and surprise. It was the best thing he had ever tasted. After much convincing on his end, we started selling it to friends, church members and family.
Our recipe has been much refined since then – we started using all premium and organic products but the loving, homemade taste remains the same.

As popularity increased within our inner circle, we decided to take it to markets and vending events. That’s when the lemonaide blew up! We mixed it live and served them in cups and people loved it. …Then Covid hit.
We had to be creative and learn how to sell our lemonaide differently than we did before. We decided to bottled it, started an instagram page, later created a website and the rest is history.

In the past 5 years, we learned so much about ourselves, the kindness of others and about business in general. The process is still not easy. Working with family poses it’s challenges but overall, it makes us closer and we are proud of what our business has become.

Böld Quality Lemonaide is the only beverage that can make your eyes light up with joy. We are eager to see that same bold reaction all over the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Greater Toronto Area is such a beautifully diverse place – a foodie’s paradise. . We’d go to Niagara Falls, walk in the buzzing city area then go on the Falls tour boat. They get so close to the falls – it scary and exhilarating. While in Niagara, You’ve gotta eat at Taco N’ Tequila. The food and drinks is are authentic and freaking delicious.
The Royal Ontario Museum is such a beautiful historic place; a must see. If you’re into some heart racing excitement, do the sky walk at the CN Tower.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our family who supports us in more ways than we can count. Our friends who proved what friendship really is. And our repeat customers who love Böld as much as we do and invested in our company with every dollar they spent. We love you all.
