Hi Nahomie, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson that my career has taught me is to be self sufficient and disciplined. As a leader, those who work with me rely on me to be reliable and disciplined. It helps create a professional and consistent work environment.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
On May 14th, I will be launching a new boutique bakery by the name of Café des Fleurs in Miami Beach. It is located at the center of Lincoln Road mall at the Lincoln Eatery.. I believe that this project embodies everything that I love. Beyond a project it tells a story that other young women may be able to relate to. A story of hard work, perseverance, women hood.

The Café is expected to be one of Miami’s most instagrammable bakery. It exudes a sense of feminity, it is decorated in different shades of pinks and rosy colors. Most importantly, its best feature is the selfie wall. A wall of bush and pink flowers that attracts the whole town.

I am so excited about the project because it will pave way for future young, minority, female entrepreneurs. Once the shop has launched. We will have franchise opportunities available.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami is full of excitements. I love taking my friends to Downtown/Brickell area. It offers a wide variety of things to do throughout the day. Rooftop pools, Spas, cute cafes and sophisticated bars. Some of my favorite hang out spots are Joia Beach Club, Nikki Beach, Faena, Marion.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank my business partner Fabrice Levi of French Delice who has not only pushed me toward this new adventure but also for introducing me to a world of new opportunities.
