We had the good fortune of connecting with Nandy Gelin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nandy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The key to my success and that of my brand? It’s simple: I’ve always been the cheerleader and the go-to problem solver. There’s nothing quite like the rush of helping others win. Whether it’s rallying the team or diving headfirst into challenges, my passion lies in seeing those around me thrive with a little push in the right direction. That’s what keeps me going, that’s what fuels my fire.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a proud business owner here in South Florida, wearing multiple hats as the COO of Quality Living Property Management, Co-Owner of Boss Babes of South Florida, and Co-Owner of Love of Urban Design. These ventures allow me to showcase my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. As a woman of color in business, I know firsthand that the path is never easy. However, my resilience and determination have kept me in the ring, fighting the good fight. Each day presents new lessons, shaping me both personally and professionally. I want the world to know that my journey isn’t just about success—it’s about peace, purpose, growth, empowerment, and paving the way for others like me
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this is a good one!! If my best friend was visiting for a week, I would make sure that she experiences the vibrant and diverse culture of south Florida, highlighting some fantastic black-owned businesses and Haitian-American establishments.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, my shoutout goes to my tribe and Jesus. They deserve all the credit and recognition for how far I’ve come in my career. On days when doubt creeps in or motivation wavers, it’s their unwavering support, encouragement, and faith that lift me up. They’ve been my rock, guiding me through uncertainties and celebrating every milestone along the way. It’s their love and belief in me that fuels my drive and keeps me pushing forward
