We had the good fortune of connecting with Nareg “Nar” Adourian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nareg “Nar”, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks gets you out of your comfort zone while presenting new opportunities along the way. As a young pilot in a competitive industry, I could have pursued various long term paths that could’ve offered me a stable career, such as flying for commercial airlines, flying private, etc. My desire to take risks first materialized when I was flying all throughout the country where I met many successful aviation business owners. This is where I met Charlie Berichi, owner of Berichi Aviation A Flight School located in Fort Lauderdale, who became a great friend and mentor of mine. Seeing Charlie’s discipline and professionalism motivated me to take risks and I ended up doing just that. After many late nights of reflecting, I decided to go to the drawing board to create a business strategy that would unify my passion and love for flight in South Florida. Starting a brand new air tour business, like any other business, had risks associated with it due to the high volume of competition in South Florida. I wanted my business to stand out from all other air tours by bringing 5-star hospitality with a opulent experience to our customers, For example we use a fleet of brand new Cessna Aircraft with the safest and greatest technology along with complimentary in flight refreshments. After all, millions of people come to Southern Florida a year to get that once in a lifetime luxury lifestyle experience. That’s where the idea of Luxury Air Tours of South Florida was born. It’s important to note that not every risk will yield instant gratification. Failing is a common result of taking small risks in life and I’ve been there numerous times. I believe how you deal with failure is a key to success in the long run. I’ve learned that as long as you stay positive and keep working towards what you believe, with risk will eventually come the reward. In the future, I plan to grow Luxury Air Tours into other cities nationwide.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorites of South Florida include Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale , Sunny isles and of course Downtown Miami.
