We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Magdaleno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
You know that moment when your client sees her face after a treatment and they find themselves staring in awe at the brow transformation or the smoothness of their skin. The expression of awe is what makes me come to work every day. Seeing them happy and appreciative of the effort I put into helping them feel themselves and more at home in their own skin, is the best feeling in the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My job is to provide Medical Skincare and Permanent Makeup services, and that job is so very rewarding and creative. It is something that allows me to use my skills and help someone see the beauty in their bodies. I help them through my talents to see themselves in a better light, to feel more confident, and to become enchanted with their natural beauty rather than chasing something that is fake. My specialty lies in makeup correction and removal. My clients come to me when they aren’t happy with the experience or work they had done from somewhere else and now they want to go back to a better place. I help them achieve that, while also making sure that their skin is in top-notch condition. After all, the skin is the largest organ of the body and it deserves to be treated like royalty. I always make sure to teach my clients about skincare protocols according to their skin types and a skin care regimen that would help them keep their skin in pristine condition. This is especially important here at Natalia Beauty Studio. We here know how much our skin and appearance can affect our self-esteem because of the society and we know how to bring out that natural beauty that is hidden underneath. We fix the problem and we make sure that the client is happy and at peace with the results and themselves. You asked whether this journey was easy. In all honesty, no it wasn’t, because I had a full-time job and running a business along with the demands of a job is not easy. But what helps is the drive, passion, and the right people backing you up. And thankfully I had all of that and more. I am standing here today because of the passion I have for helping people and I learned that if you ever want true success in life, then the only key is dedication, patience, and a boatload of integrity.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am someone who loves great outdoors. If I have time or I’m on a vacation I will be out there kayaking, snorkeling, doing water sports, swimming, etc. So my favorite spot in the city is the Hammock Park in Coral Gables. It is the perfect place for an outdoor person like me. It has delicious food, jet skiing, boating, and kayaking areas that are just perfect. They’re fun and exciting and I would recommend it wholeheartedly! Especially their beach restaurant where you can eat good food, relax and enjoy the sunset over the waters.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We all have one person in our life that inspires you throughout life. For me, that person was Sheila Treadway. I met her at the Skin Institute and Academy, she was my mentor in my journey to become a Medical Aesthetician and specialized skin care treatment. The way she walks through life and the level of professionalism she shows is something I aspire to emulate. I am honestly so happy that we became such good friends after I graduated and I hope that the friendship deepens and becomes stronger through time. The knowledge and the mentorship she gave me is something I will never be able to repay her for.
