We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Maldonado and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalia, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Getting diagnosed with breast cancer and choosing alternative treatments. The decision was difficult because while it made sense in my heart, it didn’t make sense to some of my family and doctors.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My wife and I are founders of Warrior Life Code, a purpose driven wellness and empowerment company … it is a community of Wellness Warriors, a mindset and an invitation to a happier and healthier life. Our mission is to guide, educate and provide the tools that help men and women get empowered to love themselves back to health and activate their road to recovery.
We are excited about creating a platform that will help change the conversation around healing … teaching people how to create more space and consciousness within to transform fear to curiosity and cultivate enough courage to go on a path of self -discovery to change their health story.
We host virtual retreats, spiritual fitness classes, wellness programming and have an all natural organic wheatgrass supplement to help our community unleash the Wellness Warrior within on a daily basis.
This company was born because from overcoming our own challenges and recognizing there was a need for more guidance on how to overcome life-challenges with grace and a warrior spirit.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We live in Miami … first thing is the beach! Nature activates sanity and ocean is healing for the mind and body… so it is a win win.
Sunrises and sunsets on the beach is a must on the itinerary.
To sweat and activate warrior energy, my friend has options… come with me to crossfit or workout with me in our garage. But movement is a non-negotiable.
We have created a health house for our home – we grow our own sprouts, juice everyday and take fresh wheatgrass shots daily. So of course, all of this will be shared.
To fuel my best friend’s belly and heart, I take them to Aguacate Sanctuary of Love, a vegan juice bar and natural foods spot that is outdoors. After eating, we can go spend time with the farm animals that have been saved and feel Antonio the Bull!!
And finally, I would take my friend to Coconut Grove to walk and take in the culture.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
