We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Morrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalia, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks plays a big part in my life, it gives me the space to play and explore my limits. How far can I push myself out of my comfort zone, trust my ability to keep my head up, and trust my legs to stay strong and keep me standing. I push myself to take risks every day because I want to live a full and creative life. I don’t want to stay in one place. I want to see what more I am capable of? And the rewards are always great – experience, knowledge, and self-awareness.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My purpose and goal is to help my patients come back to themselves and remember their true nature. We address and begin to balance the issues they want to work on, so they can make profound, long-term changes. Pain isn’t just physical; it is also emotional and mental.
I couldn’t image spending my time doing anything else. I love what I do.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami is so beautiful and has so much to offer. Each neighborhood has its own magic. I love spending time at Kennedy Park, and Fairchilds Gardens, taking a walk by the Miami River, and the Museums! Love all the art Miami offers. There are so many wonderful restaurants, you can almost never have a bad meal. So if you spend a week with me, it will be hanging under a tree, eating good food, and contemplating art.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom and all the women that came before me. I was raised by a warrior. I wouldn’t be the person I am, have the fire and drive that I do if I wasn’t for her.
