We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Calzadilla and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, how do you think about risk?
Risk is a necessary evil because growth happens on the border of order and chaos. Unless you take strategic inspired risks you’ll never know if an opportunity is on the other side. I take a risk every time I invest in myself for things like hiring a coach or enrolling in a program. It’s up to me to get the most out of my time and money. I took a risk when I quit my job, left my friends and family, to move across the country by myself to explore a new life. It was a great growth experience and I don’t regret it. Being an entrepreneur, healer, intuitive, and artist, they all require you to take risks every day both small and big because they require putting yourself out there, being seen, and vulnerable. You have a vision that nobody can see except you.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I help women create a life of pachanga (celebration) and possibility. Many women want to self-actualize but don’t know what’s holding them back. On my journey, I needed to do a lot of soul healing before I could step into my power as a woman, entrepreneur, and artist. However, what worked for me may not work for you. Therefore, I launched my spiritual podcast, Pachanga and Possibility last year. I use this platform to showcase alternative healing experts and mystics who share their healing stories and educate listeners on a variety of modalities that could change their lives or add value to their spiritual toolbox. On this journey, I also learned that many women want to launch their heart-centered businesses like coaching, energy healing, tarot readings, and astrology readings, but they don’t know where to start from a business and technology perspective. To empower these woowoopreneurs, I offer business start-up packages to launch their online presence and start seeing online clients quickly. It wasn’t until I connected to the deeper parts of myself that my art began to be a “thing.” I think back to 2015 when I was terrified of calling myself an artist. Now 2021, I’ve published two coloring books and a planner. I sell my paintings online and I’m currently working on illustrating a children’s picture book series. You need to unpack all your crap in order to find what really lights you up professionally and personally. If you feel stuck, call that healer, coach, or therapist you’ve been thinking of. It took a village to remove my limiting beliefs. The gifts were my family, my art, my community,…MY LIFE.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Something I love to do is take my friends on a Miami Metaphysical Store Crawl and add a pitstop at Matheson Hammock Park Beach. If you’re into the woo, check out my Metaphysical Store Crawl Guide on Instagram @natalie1love. I list all the best shops and share what makes each of them magical. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my cosmic creatrix Maria Aleandra! Watching her blaze a trail for visionary spiritual women all over the world has been inspirational to watch. She is a dear friend and magical human whose love and support I am eternally grateful for. Follow her on Instagram at @mariaaleandra
