Meet Natalie Reyes | Visual Storyteller of the Wild & Unfiltered – Photography & Videography

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want people to remember me as the girl who showed up with a camera, captured the raw and the real, and turned moments into memories you could feel. Whether it was horsepower on the road or heart in the arena, I chased passion through every lens. My legacy isn’t just about photos — it’s about telling stories with grit, soul, and style. I want to be remembered for capturing life exactly as it is: bold, wild, and true to its core.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is all about capturing real, raw moments — the kind that make you stop and feel something. Whether it’s the power of a Jeep kicking up dust, the unspoken bond between a rider and their horse, or the joy in a dog’s eyes, I don’t just take photos — I tell stories. What sets me apart is the grit and heart I bring into every shoot. I work with movement, emotion, and energy, and I’m not afraid to get dirty, climb up on a truck, or crouch in the mud if it means getting the shot that tells the full story.
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come by staying true to my vision. I didn’t go to photography school. I learned hands-on, taught myself through trial and error, and put in the hours — often after long days at work. It definitely hasn’t been easy. I’ve dealt with doubt, burnout, financial struggles, and the fear that I wasn’t good enough. But I kept showing up, camera in hand, and found purpose in the process. The love I’ve received from clients, friends, and followers has fueled me more than they know.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that progress is louder than perfection. You won’t have it all figured out when you start — and that’s okay. You just need to move, create, and trust your gut. That’s what I’ve done with Captured Memories 305.
What I want the world to know is that this isn’t just a business — it’s my heart. Every photo is a piece of my story and yours, woven together. My brand is bold, passionate, and deeply rooted in the idea that your real life — the messy, beautiful, unpredictable parts — deserves to be remembered.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1 – Hate Mondays Tavern & Chill
We’d kick off the trip with a solid breakfast/lunch at Hate Mondays Tavern — good food, chill vibe, and the perfect local welcome. Afterward, we’d take it easy, maybe explore Coconut Grove or hit a spot for sunset photos to ease into the week.
Day 2 – Keys Road Trip + Robert Is Here
We’d start early and hit Robert Is Here in Homestead for a fresh fruit milkshake and some fun roadside vibes. Then we’d cruise down to the Florida Keys for the day — exploring shops, walking the docks, soaking in island energy, and having lunch at Robbie’s Marina where we’d feed the tarpon, snap photos, and enjoy the water.
Day 3 – Everglades Adventure
Time to get wild! We’d take an airboat ride through the Everglades, spotting gators and birds while soaking in that South Florida wilderness. Afterward, maybe stop at a roadside gator shack for snacks or swing by a scenic spot for an impromptu photo shoot with nature as the backdrop.
Day 4 – Rodeo Vibes & Country Life
We’d head out to Davie for a full-on horse and rodeo day — check out barrel racing or swing by a local farm. I’d bring my camera to capture some action shots. We’d finish with dinner at a local burger or BBQ joint, then line dancing or live country music at Round Up if it’s open.
Day 5 – Jeep Day & Off-Road Fun
Gather the Mudslingers Customs crew and hit the dirt trails! We’d spend the day off-roading, filming rolling shots, playing in the mud, and maybe even staging a cool Jeep photoshoot. End the day with tacos, cold drinks, and the satisfaction of a wild day well spent.
Day 6 – Animal Day & Farm Visits
Start with a visit to Zoo Miami — I’d show my friend around the nutrition center and maybe sneak a peek at a few animals I prep meals for. Then we’d head to the farm to visit Storm and the other horses, enjoy some quiet time, groom, walk, and just unwind surrounded by animals and nature.
Day 7 – Markets & Miami Car Culture
We’d wake up early for Cars & Coffee Miami — walk the lot, admire custom rides, and take photos of the cleanest builds in town. After that, we’d stop by Redland Market Village for some last-day shopping, snacks, and local finds. The trip would end with a backyard meal, music, and a golden hour photo session to wrap up an unforgettable week.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a few people and moments that shaped this journey, but my biggest shoutout goes to my parents. Even though they’re no longer here, their love, hard work, and resilience built the foundation for everything I am today. I also want to thank my boyfriend, Jon — he’s been by my side through every late-night shoot, every wild idea, and every step of building this dream. My siblings, too, have been a rock for me in ways they may not even realize. And lastly, I have to thank the communities that welcomed me — the rodeo riders, Jeep owners, and pet lovers — who trusted me to capture their stories.
A very special shoutout goes to Anneleise Sanchez — she’s taught me that no idea is impossible, and to always reach for the moon… because even if you don’t make it, you’ll land in the stars. She’s helped bring my wildest ideas to life, and our latest shoot — horses and Harleys — was a dream come true. Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without her.
