We had the good fortune of connecting with Nataly Coll and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nataly, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from Bogotá, Colombia, but I also lived for eight years in Buenos Aires, Argentina and both places have shaped who I am today in powerful ways. Growing up in Colombia gave me a deep appreciation for tradition, color, and cultural richness. Later, living in Argentina exposed me to a different, more minimalist and intellectual approach to fashion and self-expression. The contrast between both cultures helped me develop a unique perspective: one that blends emotional connection, aesthetic intuition, and cultural storytelling. These experiences are the foundation of how I work today as a stylist and image consultant.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work lives at the intersection of fashion, storytelling, and identity. As a stylist and creative director, I don’t just put outfits together, I help people express who they are (or who they want to become) through what they wear. What sets my work apart is that I approach fashion as a language. For me, style is emotional, cultural, and psychological. I blend aesthetic intuition with a deep understanding of personal narrative, using clothes as a tool for empowerment, visibility, and self-awareness.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being able to help others feel seen, especially those who have struggled to find confidence or clarity in how they present themselves. Fashion is not superficial; it can be deeply transformative, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when someone finally sees their true self reflected in the mirror.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. I’ve worked hard to build a career in a competitive and often exclusive industry. As a Latina, an independent woman, and someone with ADHD, I’ve had to create my own structure, push through creative blocks, and navigate moments of doubt and comparison. What’s helped me overcome those challenges is staying connected to my purpose: reminding myself why I started, and that my voice and vision matter.

I want the world to know that my work is about real transformation, not just aesthetically, but emotionally and culturally. Whether it’s through a styling session, a creative production, or a piece of content on TikTok, my mission is always the same: to help people reconnect with their essence and feel powerful in their own skin.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to Bogotá, I’d take them on a mix of cultural, stylish, and soulful experiences. We’d start with brunch at Masa or Salvo Patria, then explore La Candelaria and the art galleries in San Felipe. For fashion lovers, vintage shopping in Pasaje Rivas and local designer spots in Chapinero Alto are a must.

We’d definitely have wine at Atlas, one of my favorite cozy places in the city, and for a night out, we’d go dancing at a salsa bar like Quiebracanto or El Goce Pagano, because Bogotá’s energy comes alive on the dance floor.

We’d also take a break in nature, maybe a day trip to Guatavita or a coffee with a view in La Calera. And of course, I’d plan a little creative day where we could style looks, shoot some content, or just let inspiration flow.

Bogotá has this beautiful mix of contrasts: modern and traditional, fast-paced and soulful. And I love showing it through my lens of fashion, culture, and connection.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely. I want to dedicate this shoutout to the women in my life! my mom, my grandmothers, my aunts, my cousins, my friends and every woman who has filled my life with inspiration, strength, and creativity. Their presence and stories have shaped my identity and continue to fuel my passion for what I do.

I also want to thank my dad and my brother, whose constant support have been a steady foundation throughout my journey.

And of course, I’m incredibly grateful to the creatives, colleagues, and clients who have trusted me with their vision, their collaboration has been essential in my growth as a stylist and image consultant.
