Meet Nautica G | Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nautica G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nautica, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I love being able to express myself with no limitations. Being able to see my work, my thought process, the end results are really satisfying to me. I’ve always been into fashion and I love art so as I got older I found outlets such as modeling and designing to freely be able to express my passion for those things.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Nautica. I model, rap, creative direct, I do makeup, i bartend, I make custom ashtrays and rolling trays I do it all. I stay persistent whenever I start a new hobby. I like to learn new things and give it a try and that’s what makes me who I am today. I keep trying and I get better at it I learn new things within each aspect of what it is I do and I better myself at it. The more you do something the better you get at it. I want the world to know my name. I’m Nautica and this is what I do and who I am.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m from DC, we are definitely going to brunch! Getting some good food and drinks. Visit a few of my favorite museums , I love museums and they are free to go to which is even better. To top it off we can hit a club/lounge on U street and calm it a night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a S/O to my mom. Over the years our relationship has grew tremendously and I love that she supports anything I set my mind too. She’s really my biggest supporter.
