Meet Nicholas Falcone | CEO & Founder of NDM Hospitality

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas Falcone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicholas, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most important decision I’ve made was to lead with a people first mentality and culture of mutual success. I’m a huge believer in the power of people and know that results become better when the team is empowered and motivated. When we opened our first restaurant, I took it upon myself to create a training, mentoring, and professional development system that we’ve utilized for the last 12 years+. This system is at the core of our culture and allows every individual in the company to know what opportunities are available and how to obtain them.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business started in F&B as the founding franchisees for BurgerFi. We are now diversified into other restaurants, hotel/resorts, multi-family and built to rent home management, retail management, technology, and real estate. I’m most excited about the growth trajectory of our fastest growing business, Rentyl Resorts, which is a hospitaltiy brand that combines the comforts and spaciousness of renting a home with the services, amenities, and brand standards of a branded hotel. Our growth opportunities are off the charts because of our unique business model, cutting edge technology, and incredible Co-Brand partnerships with companies such as Jack Nicklaus Companies and Hard Rock. 

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tough question as I’m a serial worker and my fun really consists of hanging with my wife and family. If someone was coming to visit in Orlando, I would take them to dinner at one of our restaurants named The Wharf where we have great seafood and live entertainment every day. We could go golfing at one of the Reunion courses. I’m big into fitness so would love to do a great workout. I’m pretty boring though so don’t have too much great stuff to add here.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
If I was to call out individuals for my success, it would start with my parents. I was blessed to have incredible mentors in both my Mother and Father. My Father is a very successful business man and I’ve learned so much from him in life and business that I apply to everything that I do. My Mother is amazing in so many ways and taught my brothers and I how to be amazing men. She always taught us hard work, respecting others, how to put family first, and incredible life lessons.
