We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Souffrant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nick, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I love writing stories and I wanted to have a job Where I can be unapologeticly me!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My comedy is based on real life situations every joke must be related or familiar to the audience. I learned that every opportunity on stage was a chance to get better and build more material. What makes me different from other comedians is my work ethic I write everyday and perform 4 times a week. I’m not the type to wait on an opportunity I more interested in creating an opportunity. I independently filmed my 1st 2 comedy specials. Part -Time dad is streaming on KWELITV curated by Emmy award winning comedian Lil Rel Howery and Outta Pocket is being sold on RidiculousComedy.com
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I don’t really hang out much so we”ll definitely end up at the Dania Improv most likely I’ll be performing
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank my family and the south Florida Improv comedy club organization.
