We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazmine & Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazmine & Nicole, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
SNACKS make us happy!

ECB was conceived through a happy celebration in 2019, we found a way to replicate that feeling by offering ECBs for all of life’s joyful moments. Whether it’s a life milestone, baby shower, or holiday event. We are happiest bringing people together through sharing tasty bites at a communal snack table that is carefully crafted and artfully displayed.

Through the art of celebration, we are able to share our love of quality, seasonal and local snacks. We love curating our clients’ dream snack tables including their personal preferences and dietary restrictions. Our creations are an edible labor of love and somehow we found a creative outlet through grapes, salami, gummy bears, manchego, dried apricots, olives, rice krispies, almonds, strawberries, nutella, honey, gouda, and all the other snacks.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Apart from being BFFs, we are both Masters in Hospitality Management (shoutout to FIU) and avid world travelers. We are proud that our collective experience academically and professionally has resulted in a strong partnership in life and business. We’ve learned the value of communication, transparency, and diligence.

Jazmine (½ of ECB) boasts 11 years of hospitality experience and currently manages Mandolin Aegean Bistro. Nicole (½ of ECB) is owner and operator of GNP Research – a company that facilitates clinical research in South Florida. Time is the biggest challenge for ECB -juggling jobs and life- but friendship and perseverance (and a calendar) make it possible.

ECB is a product of organic growth – our backgrounds have given us the boldness and bravery to pursue this endeavor. ECB believes that with hard work (and a lot of snacks) comes great joy and much fun.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Assuming the day of the week is Saturday, our day would start with a cold brew at Panther Coffee Little Haiti location – usually where we take our ECB meetings. After a caffeine buzz we would head to North Beach Oceanside Park – our favorite local beach entry complete with easy parking and a nice spot to hang a hammock. After a sufficient tanning session, we would refuel at our favorite dumpling spot, Dumpling King in North Miami Beach – definitely ordering soup dumplings. After a quick cafecito at the nearest ventanita, we would plan a sunset picnic, probably complete with a bottle of Espolon tequila, and probably at South Pointe Park near the rocks, to pregame for a night out. We would continue with cocktails at The Sylvester and proceed to dance our way into Sunday morning at Club Space. Sunday? Repeat.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
ECB works closely with local catering companies and event planners. Our success has been possible by these partnerships, specifically with Daniel Nieves (Event Producer) at Bill Hansen Catering. His support laid the foundation for our launch in the events space. ECB is also grateful for Kimberly Van Belle at KVB Event Planning, we’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside her as we bounce back from the hit COVID left in the world of events.
