We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Thaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, how does your business help the community?
Conventional talk therapy can be wonderful but oftentimes can miss the mind-body- soul connection. The somatic therapy I uses helps my clients release trauma that is stored in the body, in the cells. Sessions help anyone suffering from anxiety, insomnia, childhood trauma, body aches and pains, migraines, unhealthy eating habits, etc.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started on a journey to heal myself, I had gotten very sick with autoimmune. I also suffered from anxiety that kept me from fully reaching my potential. I embarked on a journey to heal myself and through my own healing journey it flowed into trainings to heal others. I’m really proud of how far I have come, I have really stepped into who I am before society, family, etc told me who I “should” be and became who I truly am at the core. It definitely has not been easy, I took the road less traveled. What I do is not by any means conventional or accepted by mainstream society yet, but my clients That are open minded and willing to step outside the box see life changing results. My mission is always to bring more light happiness and love into the world and my clients lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Palm Beach Island! I would take them to The Seafood Bar at The Breakers and then for matcha at Sant Ambrous. We would go for a bike ride on A1A to the Eau hotel for coconuts and then a raja class at ATHA Yoga Definitely go for a nice sunset boat ride with a great music playlist followed by a bbq!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Angela-Updike. She has been such a wonderful mentor and teacher to me.
