We had the good fortune of connecting with Niesha Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Niesha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started out as a hair stylist then covid came. When they shut everything down i thought long and hard on what else i wanted to do. I started browsing photos of clients and the health their skin and hair was in and decided i wanted to provide a product that woukd help change their hair health and skin to reach there goals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have always been very creative which started out with doing hair for 15 years. When i transitioned over to my hair care products it opened up new levels and challenges to my creativity.

It was not at all easy getting to where i am today and i still face challenges daily. But how i overcome them is i simply keep going and keep trying. Lessons i have learned along the way are your products are not for everybody and everybody wont support you but if you keep going you will see that someone out there believes in you and will support you.

The brand

I started my brand the year mother was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I was so anixious and nervous to start my new business affraid of failing and sha encouraged me to go for it. Till this day she fights for her life and her strenght keeps me going.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some places we would eat in the city are

Flavours ( the best food in drinks in the city)
This would be on a friday night or saturday
We would also go to waffle that best breakfast in the city
We could hit downtown for some dancing
Give them a taste of
Tulsa ok history and take a stroll down Black wall street.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout out Jazmine Hood ( imlilperfect on youtube) for believeing in my products and using them and show casing them to her fan base on youtube. I have expanded from oklahoma to 30 other states in the united states and internationally in the UK.
