Hi Ninaa, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks has played a major role in my life. I would not be here today if I was too scared to take a risk and bet on myself and moved to NY when I was 17 years old. In Life, I believe in order to get to the next level, you have to be willing to get uncomfortable. We always hear “Great Risks come with great results” and that statement is very true. When you are trying to get to a new level of success, you have to do things you’ve never done before and take the risks. Your Future self will thank you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The world of creating have so many parts. From planning the content, to filming and editing, and then seeing your content come to life. It was not easy getting to were I am today but the love and passion I have for my work is what helped push me everyday. I create content on self-care, mental health, and fashion. I love that I can use my platform to help others and show ways that we can treat ourselves.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many great places to visit in Miami. One of my favorite things to do is go on solo dates and try new foods. If my bestfriend was visiting, the first place we have to go is the Spa at Mandarin Oriental. I would want to start the trip off with day of wellness and self-care. The next day, we would have brunch at Quinto Miami, located inside of the East Hotel. The Caipi Maracuya drink is my favorite there. After, we would explore, visit Brickell City Centre. Then stop at MAU Miami for dinner. Their Filet Mignon with Boniato Puree is a must have.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Everyone wants to be “Self-made” but I believe in order to get to a certain level of success, You need a solid team. I am grateful to have an amazing team. I wish I could shout everyone out because they all have added a lot of value and has helped me get closer to where I want to go but today we are shouting out one very special person. She deserves a lot of credit and recognition in my story. That person is my mother, Patricia. My Career choice is not one that is usually supported in a Haitian Household but from the first time I sat down with my mother and I told her what my dreams and goals were, she has supported me in every way. From Moving to New York with me to helping me shoot my content and sharing EVERY post I have posted. My Mother has celebrated every win with me , big and small, and has been there to give me advice every time I needed it. I am the woman I am today because my mother has stood by me every step of the way and showed me what an empowered woman can do once she finds her voice.
