We had the good fortune of connecting with Olga Adler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olga, why did you pursue a creative career?
Creativity is a huge part of my nature and I have been interested in artistic endeavors and expressing my creativity ever since I was a child. Whether through drawing for fun, writing (my first college degree was in journalism and I was a communications strategist for many years) or now through designing interiors, I enjoy creating a vision and following through on it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I’m an award-winning Delray Beach – based interior designer creating lasting, luxurious and comfortable looks – beautiful homes that truly reflect the way my clients want to live.

I consider travel to be my greatest creative influence and I rely on a multitude of resources to create spaces with sophisticated, cosmopolitan feel. I mix the finest fabrics and custom furniture with vintage finds and striking art for an expertly edited look.

My ability to blend the old with new and simple with refined has attracted a loyal following who have come to depend on my imagination and technical knowledge to create homes that are both chic and livable.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

In Delray Beach a stroll through Pineapple Grove would be a must – browse art at local galleries and stop at Lulu’s for a drink or sit down for a meal at Akira Back at The Ray. Sun time at The Seagate Beach Club and a massage and mani/pedi at Seagate Hotel & Spa.

A little shopping in Miami Design District, obviously. A brunch at Abbale Telavivian Kitchen in SoFi or at Mandolin Aegean Bistro – two of my favorite Miami restaurants. Dumplings for dinner at Zitz Sum in Coral Gables. A coffee stop at Ironside Miami.

A visit to Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is a non-negotiable, especially on a Friday evening for their Art After Dark events – followed by a late night snack at Cholo Soy Cocina – tacos are a must but don’t forget the churros!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a big shoutout to my clients who, for the last 18 years, inspired, challenged and supported me, and allowed me to create a thriving interior design and decorating practice.
