We had the good fortune of connecting with Pablo Ferlazzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pablo, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I use to trained every day before start with my own company, i have a more “organized” life, when start growing the company i didnt have the time or the focus to keep training so i just put all the time and effort into the company, with travels, meetings and everything that a personal company means, with the pandemic, and the time i have again i started training like use to do, and realize that really help my balance i think is neccesary to have time to make things that make you feel good, doesnt matter how much work you have to do, you need to work in you

if you dont find the balance everyday between work, training, family and friends, will be very difficult to keep going

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the second generation in a family of watchmakers and watch dealers. It all started with my father, who began learning watchmaking at age 14, worked for prestigious brands and had his own shop for more than 30 years.

Fortunately, for two decades now I’ve been able to carry his legacy, traveling around the world, meeting many people and finding the rarest and most historic watches ever.

It wasn’t easy. This all took a lot of time, effort and sacrifice. I’ve met many people through the years, some good, some bad, but every experience is useful.

I love the smile on the faces of those who consult me on watch-related business, or the fact that the horology world is not only a hobby but a potential investment, a business opportunity.

Our mission isn’t to sell watches, it’s getting people to invest in them for many years to come. I see our work as that of a stock advisor: we want every client to invest wisely, and shake the fear that comes with believing watches are an expense instead of assets.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We all know Miami has an unlimited number of beaches and places to go out at night.

So for starters, the beach would definitely be one of the first spots we visit.

Then we’d go eat at either Carbone or Cassa Tua (in South Beach). The Faena also has an excellent steakhouse (as an Argentinean, “asado” is sacred for us!).

I’d take him to Graziano in Coral Gables as well. And we can’t forget the classic and superb Carpaccio in Bal Harbor, where everything — from the place to the people — are fantastic!

I’d take them to Bal Harbor, the Keys, Palm Beach, a boat ride on South Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this note to those who’ve always been close and helped me grow, my family and my good friends, with whom I’ve had endless conversations on the phone that I keep up to this day. They’re not many, but they’re the best of the best, and without them none of this would’ve been possible, nor would it be possible for me to keep going every day.
