We had the good fortune of connecting with Peggy Rojas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Peggy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Discovering my niche market. Your niche market is indeed a formidable task, one that requires not only a deep understanding of your own strengths and passions, but also a keen insight into the needs and wants of your potential customers.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rojas Fitness, under the guidance of Peggy and Greg Rojas, has been a journey of passion and dedication. Our business started with my husband and I teaching Zumba® at local gyms, YMCA’s, and recreational centers. This was the foundation of our fitness journey.
What sets us apart, from ordinary fitness companies, is our commitment to community service. We created a non-profit team of male instructors, Tampa Men of Z, who supported many local non-profits. We also provided Corporate Fitness services to various companies in the area.
I served as a Master Trainer for the Beachbody brand for several years, licensing other instructors in the Tampa Bay Area. This experience has enriched our service offerings and broadened our impact.
One of our proudest achievements is being pioneers in online coaching for over 10 years. My expertise as a Holistic health coach guarantees results for our clients.
The journey to where we are today was not easy. There were challenges along the way, but we overcame them through perseverance and a strong belief in our mission. The lessons we’ve learned have shaped us and our business.
We want the world to know that Rojas Fitness is more than just a fitness brand. It’s a community dedicated to promoting health and wellness while making a positive impact on society. Our story is one of passion, resilience, and commitment to serving others.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to God, for providing me with the wisdom and guidance in all my endeavors. I am also immensely thankful to my supportive husband, whose unwavering faith and encouragement have been my pillar of strength.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Tampa Community. Their collective effort and support have played a significant role in shaping my journey.
