We had the good fortune of connecting with Peyton Fallis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peyton, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for my business came very easily because it was something I have been doing my whole life. Being a fitness coach is my passion and I have been in the fitness world since I can remember. I was always playing sports growing up, got into lifting weights as a teenager and eventually landed a full scholarship to play division 1 basketball. Once basketball had ended, I looked towards the weight room as an outlet. Weightlifting had become my passion and I was fortunately able to turn that passion into an income while helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think my background of collegiate athlete and medical studies set me apart in this industry. When playing a college sport, especially at the highest level you learn so much about strength, conditioning, nutrition, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and so much more. When you are doing all these thing’s day in and day out for 3-4 years, it is indefinitely ingrained into who you are. I was a pre-medical student, getting my bachelor’s in biology so I have education on anatomy and physiology. With these 2 experiences plus my time as a body builder and fitness instructor it makes me more than qualified in coaching others to achieve their fitness goals.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My top restaurants I would take them would be Shadow Wagyu, Sapore Di Mare, Kote, or Uchi. These are restaurants I will continue to go back to over and over. I would also take them to the Design District, its fun to walk around there and see all of the different stores and artwork. If we wanted to see live music on the weekend I would take them to the Gibson room or to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Lobby. Otherwise we may do a boat day where I love to teach my friends to wakeboard or wake surf.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to recognize my family, friends, and fiance who have always supported my lifestyle and dreams. They push me to become better and are always there for me. They are my biggest cheerleaders and I would not be where I am without them.
