We had the good fortune of connecting with Asakhe Nojoko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Asakhe, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I grew up in a very poor family with a single mother and one source of income. So I thought one day, “How can I be free from poverty and be financially independent?” Having multiple streams of income was the answer.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a singer and songwriter, and what sets me apart is the fact that I have a different sound. I don’t try to be someone else; I like to discover and explore my self and talent daily. I’m so proud of myself that I didn’t give up on my dreams, and I’m so excited to be where I am right now and for the future ahead. For me to get to where I am, it took a lot of dedication, practicing, fasting, and prayer. It was never easy; there were so many challenges along the way, but I’m grateful that I never gave up. The lessons I learned along the way were patience, endurance, the importance of vocal training, and loving myself first. I want the world to be inspired by my music, and I want those who lost their dreams to start dreaming again. Basically, to bring hope and love to the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
