We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachelle Guse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachelle, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think the most important factor behind the success I have experienced is respecting that everyone is unique. To really trust what the client’s mind, body, and spirit is trying to say and what is showing up physically, especially in their feet. We literally walk our truth. I know that what works well for one person, may not be what is best for another. I love using different modalities, they can all get us where we want to go in our healing journey. I love being that spark for someone when they are stuck. I love it when someone says they hated their feet, and now they appreciate the guidance they give. I love giving people hope, and being a stepping stone for them. I love to encourage people that they can trust themselves and be a grounding rod for them. My success comes being a life long student, and using everything I share in sessions in my own life. There is no one path. Traditional healing meets alternative, I support it all ,and live my life that way. I think that is key.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is called the Eclectic Spark! A business where I offer a variety of alternative wellness modalities. I offer individual sessions and work collaboratively with others. I also offer wellness services to businesses to help support their staff’s wellness.

I worked for years as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My specialty was intensive-in-home therapy. Referrals came mainly from the justice system. It was work that was rewarding. But, I became burnt out with the insurance approvals, and having my hands tied with what I thought a client may need in addition to becoming well. I retired from that career due to my own personal wellness journey.

I believe fully that therapy has its place and purpose. I believe also that our bodies show us daily where we are stuck and hurting emotionally. I believe pain manifests physically as disease if not addressed, felt, and released.

My journey took me into learning body work and healing modalities. Our bodies are made of energy and hold frequency. I found great relief in my own body using singing bowls and reiki. I consider myself a life long student of energy work and it’s my passion to guide others through their wellness journeys with my services. I don’t offer anything that I don’t personally use in my own life. The more we raise our own personal vibration the better we feel. Reiki and sound healing are proven scientifically to support our healing and recognized by many hospitals as alternative wellness now.

One of my great loves on my own wellness journey has been finding Toe Reading. That alone was a challenge to shift from being a professional counselor to a professional toe reader. Had I lost my mind?! What would my colleagues, family and friends say?! I learned the craft in 2009 and the world was not open to alternative wellness like it is today.

I had a double life in many ways. I had this whole professional sphere where I was a counselor and then I had this other network where I worked as a professional in the wellness world but I knew much of the world was not accepting. I had people laugh right in my face at times who inquired about toe reading. It was a personal struggle of my ego, of letting go of what I thought I should do vs. what I was being called to do next. Was I throwing away my career? These were challenging times to say the least. I finally let go of my therapist hat and walked fully into alternative wellness.

My how times change!! These days people are waking up more each day to wanting to find other ways of feeling better vs. a pill or traditional methods.

Toe reading is nothing “woo-woo”. I want the world to know that our feet tell our story. The shape, color, skin texture, lines, lumps, bumps, and pains and more tell your journey. Everything is literally a clue showing up in our feet showing us where we are stuck in life and where we still hold cellular memory of those events.

Did you know that your feet change daily with your thoughts? I challenge you to take a picture of your feet close up. Then take a picture of your feet after something great or challenging happens in your day. This is where we begin. Seeing how different our feet look depending on our thoughts and feelings.

Our feet are literally like a compass, just waiting for us to take notice of the direction we are headed in life.

Why toe reading? Why would one do this?!

Each toe is a meridian of energy waiting to guide us. Your feet always speak the truth!

You can find out where you are stuck. You can literally see where the blocks are. You don’t have to dredge up your whole past. A professional reader can dialogue out together with you your story and point it out in your toes. You decide then if you are ready to energetically release the energy and stories from your cellular level. Our bodies keep score. The look of your feet tells you what stories you’re still playing out that you didn’t realize you were possibly.

Challenge: Look at your pinky toe ,is it going straight or on its side? Does the size seem proportionate to the rest of the toes? What color is it? Does it look red, or dark compared to the rest of the foot? Is it hiding under the next toe? These are just a few things to look at.

The pinky toe is where we hold our “trust” in life. If the toe is on its side we most likely are not trusting in the world or something specific. Our toes are meant to be laying straight and going forward. Pay attention to your thoughts and see how they show up in your feet!

What I have learned along the way is that your brain is so powerful! Talk about something you really dislike for 5 minutes and stare at your toes. See how they physically change color, lines may show up, or a bump flares up. You can’t stop the changes that show up on your feet.

I love toe reading because we get free access to our own truth! We can literally quickly move stuck energy and emotions! Toe reading changes lives, and gives people and children a great communication tool to use themselves or as a family.

I’ve had the most amazing experiences with children getting their voices heard through their feet. Your feet are such a gift supporting you in your emotional wellness. Once you learn the basics, you can help yourself process so much!

I have had a journey of learning many wellness modalities but toe reading is such a unique practice and something you can use daily in your life as a support. I love doing toe readings and then completing a session with the singing bowls as a vibrational release. I want the world to know that traditional therapy is not the only path on a healing journey. If you feel like you need more tools to wellness don’t be afraid to try something new! If you don’t feel like you are at the level that you need traditional therapy but you need a boost alternative wellness is a great place to look.

I am excited about the days we are in now, people are doing traditional therapy and alternative practices with much less stigma!! It’s becoming the norm. I chose the name The Eclectic Spark LLC because I know how much I value taking pieces of wellness and utilizing them together!

I’m here to share your wellness journey can take you down many paths! Let your ears and feet guide you to your next right step whatever that maybe. Consider if alternative wellness is something you might want to add to your journey? If we can agree on that our bodies are made of energy, that’s all that is needed to begin in believing there are more options out there for you.

I want the world to believe in the power of their own mind, body, and spirit. I’m rooting for you, and would love to help you on your wellness journey in person or online. There is no cookie cutter experience during an awakening. It can be very overwhelming. I’m here to guide when you are ready! We all literally just need a spark sometimes to keep moving forward.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I was in Miami I would take in the magic of the botanical gardens for sure! I think it’s safe to say one must also take advantage of walking around the city and following the sounds and smells of all the rooftop bars filled with music, delightful food, and drinks! You can’t go wrong by following your senses around the magic of the city!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my dear friend Sarah Stokes of the Juicy Good Life! We met at a business group and she later hired me to do services with her team. Sarah gave me my first large opportunity to use the Chinese Elements and singing bowls with a business team. She also put me on the cover of her former owned “Queen magazine” where I was given writing opportunities also. I can’t thank her enough for believing in me and my work. She has referred me to many other clients and experiences, and given me the greatest gift of all a friendship that I treasure.

Some say that business and friendship are not good to mix. Sarah Stokes broke the mold on that theory. She uses an open hearted business model that utilizes alternative wellness practices. This makes her the type of boss, mentor, client, and friend, people dream of having in their universe! I am so grateful.
