We had the good fortune of connecting with Raheem Fitzgerald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raheem, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I think when youre doing certain types of work [ like painting and sculpture] there is only one or two threads seperating work and life it takes a conscious effort to remember you have to give yourself moments outside of that frame of reference.
 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im on a pursuit to shift the mediums i work in, twist them bend them stretch them all in and effort to expand the mediums of painting and sculptures to fit where i need them to fit.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Design District for sure i think that is the area where someone like myself will find themselves with enough things to see and conversations to have theres everything you need from fashion to coffee within 2 miles , to eat i would definitely say El Yambo great restaurant that seems to be important to keep thriving. Me being a painter i would have to say visiting the Rubell and other adjacent art spaces in Miami. it depends on what is going on Miami is a city of a lot of possibilities life isnt about what you know how to find but who you know that can get you in the doors

Well First Off id like to thank god [Grammy Acceptance Speech Voice Haha] Mesu 360 Family Chad Geo Mom and Rine, my Consigliere Laurent, my ride or die Lundyn, Hilary, Scott Fisher , Robert Gallardo, My parents and so many more names ofcourse when youre growing up so many people look after you nurture you share wisdom with you etc so its hard to really say.
