We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Fenelus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When i sat down and thought about what I wanted to give to the world I was at a time in my life where I couldn’t afford to be wrong I had to believe in myself I wanted to bring something different to my community from the knowledge I had for food prior I just loved being from Miami and I had so many different culture influences I just wanted to showcase my version of good food

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is my food I take my time and try to bring you to an utter experience where I take your mouth in a ride it never knew existed. For me to get where I am professionally it took a endless amount of hustle dedication and drive. I am blessed to have a creative mindset advertisement wise where I make my own commercials and that grabs people’s attention I am also thankful now have a business representative by the name of Carol at Platinum Multi Service who really makes my life easier helps me stay on track of my documents needed to properly run my business. This journey was definitely not easy I’m trying to do something that big companies can’t right now and that’s providing jobs and rehabilitating my community from my turkey drives yearly to the toy drives and just being a difference maker in my community. Along the way I faced heartbreak headache work pain but the bad times don’t last when you believe in your brand like you believe in yourself. Before any sunlight comes rain. Only thing I want people to get from me and my story is never give up and believe in yourself. I want people to support because the support the movement but respect us because of the story..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly I’m not really an out being person I started partying early so I feel like it’s all the same so I barely go out it’s just a lot of clubs I’m a more intimate person I like kickbacks and things of that nature so I’ll probably end up inviting them to a house party . Call me old fashioned

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Personally I have so many influences and people that I surround myself with and people who I’ve met that are going hard behind their brand I can give you a list of people like artist such as Groundwork doe, Willy black, Kidd Adamz, K banks and I have other people like my friend Dave owner of Dtouch massage the list goes on honestly I know other chefs such as chef Nessa or back of house catering a local food truck owned by a friend of mine Vanessa my sister bakes amazing cakes her name is Michou catering if I could I wish I could show love to everyone
