Meet Randy Santos | Dance Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Santos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Randy, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say that the most important factor behind my success is the hunger that I have every day to be better at what I do, that makes me think of new ideas to promote my dance classes and how to make my clients feel more committed to themselves too

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is about making people happy while they learn to dance to Latin rhythms like salsa, bachata, and merengue..
What differentiates me from others is that I do not teach with the main purpose of earning money, I teach with the purpose of changing people’s lives through dance, I can make you a more confident person by learning to dance and that will impact many areas of your personal life.
I got to where I am now because I have always had my goals and dreams clear without doubting myself. 5 years ago I started this path of being a teacher and at 2 years old I opened my own studio, 2 months later I lost everything because of the Covid 19 pandemic, after that I moved to Miami with the purpose of starting a new life from zero and open my studio once again, the beginning was not easy because I did not speak English at all, I did not know anyone related to the world of dance, so I had to make my way on my own and make myself known.
One of the lessons I have learned along this path is that things are not going to arrive at your door, opportunities are out there for everyone, you just have to keep your eyes open for when they come and don’t let them pass in front of you

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had to fulfill an itinerary of fun things to do, it would be: Go to breakfast at a Cuban restaurant, take a Jetsky ride on Miami beach, Walk down 8th and Wynwood streets and of course… take dance classes at Randy Santos dance studio

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Special recognition to all the people who give me their support day by day and my students who without them I am nothing ❤️
2 books that change my mentality :
1- Como ganar amigos e influir sobre las personas – Dale Carnegie.
2- La magia de pensar en grande – David J. Schwartz
